Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
Literally watched this because I couldn't find anything to watch. I know nothing about Godzilla or the Monsterverse - Its just not my thing. 5 eps were already available and ok yes - Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell helped me decide to give it a go.
This was....... good. I liked the characters. I have seen some criticism with too much character stuff and not enough Monster stuff . When any Monster did show up, the focus always remained on the characters. This suited me but I get why if you are a fan of the Monsterverse and have those expectations, it would be annoying.
Normally I tend to have theories about things going on but with this, I just don't know the world or the lore so I kinda just went with it. Writing was a bit on the nose at times and I know there were alot of easter eggs that I missed along the way but it was fun
