Hi hi. Im kinda new to the idea of all the different lifestyles and stuffs. Do you mind explaining the differences between ddlg / cgl/ age regression/ and age play and stuff? I keep trying to find out the difference but all I can find is "dont accositate" ( or however you spell it) tags. Please? Im just confused..
Hi dear!!! We’ll be happy to explain for you since you don’t understand! Sorry this is so long!!
C/g/l- a ki//nk that involves a power imbalance. It usually coincides with age//play, and d/d//lg is a subset of it. C/g/l stands for care//giver/little which are the names of the people in the community. Littles are usually age//players, and care//givers are generally people who care for them and are usually their romantic/sex//ual partner. It is by definition a ki//nk, and usually greatly sexu//alized.
C/g/l//re- An age regression community based on c/g/l, but it is non-ki//nk, however still uses terms such as “little///space” which have kink connotation since they are used in c/g/l, a ki//nk community, and usually suggesting age//play. However, the community itself is sfw and they are age regressors, since it is a subset of c/g/l specifically for age regression. Some feel safer there, and that’s okay. Personally we are separating from this because of the terms and connection to c/g/l.
Age//play- When someone pretends to be small. “a form of role playing in which an individual acts or treats another as if they were a different age, sex//ual or non-sexu//ally. Age//play is role playing between adults, and involves consent from all parties.”
Age regression- When someone’s mindset literally switches into an age younger than their biological age. “Age regression is when somebody reverts to a child-like state of mind, often as a coping mechanism for things like PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.” People regress for different reasons though. It is not a pretend/role play thing.
ChiRe- A sfw non-kink age regression community, which I believe was the first of it’s kind? It sprouted lots of other communities too, who follow a similar do not interact policy, and they’re all really cool!
System littles- Actual children within people’s systems. They are not connected to c/g/l or c/g/l//re.
Caretakertiny (Ctt)- That’s us!! We’re a sfw non-kink regression community, similar to c/g/l//re, however we do not use little//space terms because we don’t like their ki//nk connotations. We were made specifically to separate from c/g/l//re while keeping a similar concept. We accept all sfw age regressors who follow our do not interact policy. We are not affiliated with any network, we are our own separate community. We have no ki//nk affiliation and we are a discourse/drama free community for age regressors, caretakers, pet regressors, system littles, or anyone else who wants a safe place to call home who likes small things or otherwise.
