LORE | REKINDLED EPISODE 81 - S̸̥̓͜ ̴̳̘̭̈́̍̓P̷̧̺̹͑̒̽ ̶̰͚̖̥̎͒L̷̦͙̓̎́ ̵̨̳̮͒̍͝͠Ĩ̷̗̦͒ ̷̤̬͇̹̌̈́͊T̴̳̙͈̎̀ͅ
ok so we're so not back and I want to kms in very horrific ways that leave my family unable to have an open casket
sometimes wish plurality was a lot more commonly known and accepted. like, no, I can't do anything related to my education right now, we split a distinctly non-human headmate last night and have been trying so hard to get them acclimated to life on earth, we will not be able to do this test or study for that exam today! And if we can't get them appropriately acclimated soon, we're just gonna end up splitting another headmate (probably human this time) in hopes that they can deal with our life!
Which I think should be a perfectly understandable reason to not be able to attend my classes today! Especially seeing as it's not like I'm focusing in class because, like I said, trying to get someone else used to having a human body and living on earth right now. kinda makes it hard to focus on anything else but their wellbeing!
augh
fun fact! the sysmed notion that "most endos have trauma they don't remember" is genuinely fucking disgusting.
here's some horrid things that little piece of sysmed rhetoric causes, in no particular order:
- self doubt
- looking for trauma that isn't ready to be remembered yet
- self harm related to the previous point (repeatedly engaging with the trauma to be "valid" despite how much damage its causing)
- looking for trauma that isn't there (and getting distressed when none is found)
- faking (in relation to the prior point; faking having trauma to be "valid")
- system repression/denial/etc
- "taking away resources from traumagenic systems" (aka... you prompted the endo in question to go to therapy that they didn't need for trauma they don't have)
- unnecessary splitting
- unnecessary integration
- unnecessary dormancy
update 1/7/25 because my tags are being ignored
A big fear we have is that one day we'll split/discover a factive of our main abuser and we wont know how to deal with it
He was such a big part of us becoming a system we genuinely fear this
Vincent says he would tell us if there was and take care of it but it still worrys me
Knowing our luck we'll jinx it and have one soon. Given how much I've been thinking about them as well
hey guys um
my parents are getting divorced so
It's so strange being a nonhuman headmate and having a species that's just technical. Like yeah I'm a siren but that's because me and my subsystemmates all are (due to splitting from the same original headmate). It really only affects me in having a love for seafood and isn't a huge part of my identity. It just feels like the default, like how a lot of people see "human" as being the default and so they stick with it.
