i think arle copes by putting all her focus on taking care of her partner. to me arle likes to be in control; of her life, of her actions, and of her circumstances. it gives her security after living so long and so cruelly under the control of someone else. so when something happens that is outside of her control, she copes by focusing on things that she can control and in this case it’d be helping her partner get better physically and mentally. and she grieves, yes, but she compartmentalizes it so intensely (again, a method of staying in control but this time of her emotions) that u might think that she’s unbothered. but sometimes she’ll sit in silence for long periods of time drifting in thought and that’s when u can rlly tell the way it eats at her.

“There were some…complications, my lord.”
Ramsay looks at you, eyes darting towards your covered middle. Your hands grip the bed sheet and you gulp as fear runs through you.
The agony of losing a child is defeated by the fear of whatever the future holds for you.
That’s what marriage with Ramsay resulted in. Nothing but fear and despair.
"The babe? Is it fine? What happened?” Ramsay inquires the maester, genuine concern displayed in his face.
The maester glances at you, his face falling into a bow, and you do the same, avoiding Ramsay’s eyes. The excruciating pain in your middle worsens with the panic you feel, tears starting to flood your eyes.
The silence perpetuates.
“No. No!” you close your eyes, small sobs escaping you upon Ramsay’s frustration. His voice growing in volume until it cracks, desperate howls of agony as he mourns over your dead child.
Your eyes opened in a fright as fingers painfully dig into your cheeks. Ramsay hovers over you, fury disfiguring his features.
“You…You little bitch! You did this.” He growls, eyes squinting with suspicion and your face snaps to the side with the force of his slap.
“You never wanted it, did you? My heir…my son.”
“No! Ramsay, please-“
Your pleas are rapidly interrupted with another smack, this one harsher. Your tongue tastes the blood of your torn lower lip but you know it’s only the beginning. His hand can go much harder than that.
“You killed my child, you vicious whore.” He accuses you, grabbing you by your hair, the sharp sting making you whimper.
The madness and rage that burns in his eyes terrifies you.
Ramsay spits in your face, the vigor of his hold increasing to the point that you can feel some of your roots giving up.
He gets closer and you stop your breathing.
“You’re going to suffer for this. When I’m done with you, you won’t even remember your own name. You’ll cry tears of blood and wish you were dead already.” he threatens you, his voice lowered to a whisper.
“And then you’re going to give me a child. A son. And another. And another. You’ll give me what I want. Over and over until you’re nothing more than my breeding bitch. That’s what you deserve.”
so we all know that sam's actress was pregnant during most of season three, and i guess that's part of the reason she played a smaller role during those episodes. but what if sam was actually pregnant but she and jay decided not to tell the ghosts yet bc she knew they would freak out, especially after losing flower. but then she ends up losing the baby and just decides to not tell the ghosts either.
bonus points if the ghosts find out when jay's family comes for christmas.

lara is a rising model and is adored by so many guys, so it’s safe to assume that she’s bound to meet someone new
she’s specifically into athletes tho so she’s probably gonna go for a basketball player next lol
as for tobio’s mom, they cut her off. tobio no longer wants to associate himself or his wife with her esp after all the pain y/n went through bc of his mom
tobio holds his mom accountable for the loss of his first child so you can assume he has a lot of grudge
tobio’s mom tries to reach out every now and then (bc she wants to meet the kids) and y/n tells him it’s ok, but tobio just plainly refuses to let her meet them
time heals tho, so if tobio sees that his mom changes the way she treats his wife, he’d allow her to see his kids (but i don’t think he’ll let them to get too close with her)

there are no words for it. no words for being a mother, for feeling a little life within you kick at each breath you take, or every laugh your husband lets out. at least, jena has not found one yet. mayhaps it can all be summoned in the word motherhood, but even then, she is speechless about it. from valarr coming in healthy and screaming one morning, to a slightly weaker but still strong matarys a few years later, jena will remember those days for the rest of her life.
this is also a part of motherhood, she realizes. losing the child that has spent so long in the safety of your womb, expelled out through blood one morning with no warning besides what feel like labor pains. she'd woken baelor up in a panic, the pain almost blinding, as she'd stumbled out of bed -- unsure where she meant to travel to besides to maybe get help -- with the blood down her thighs like an omen.
twins. she finds out, after a horribly painful procedure to eject the babe -- babes -- that there are two, as had been suspected by the maesters for weeks. a boy and a girl. she gives them names through broken sobs, desperate ones, as if speaking them may make them cry, may make them begin to breathe. but there is nothing ; no intake of breath, no screams of the newborns. they are empty, their little souls gone to the mother.
now, a few days later, and with the funeral tomorrow, jena has yet to rise from the bed. they'd changed the sheets, given her a bath, tried to avoid her watchful eye as they took the little babes away and cleaned the blood, but jena had watched it all. there is no sleep for her, besides what is afforded by milk of the poppy and some concoction of sleep tea, but even that is short and nearly painful. she wakes up, often, whispering their names. aegon. rhaela.
when her husband does enter the room, even as he tries to be quiet in case she may finally be resting, jena does not say much, her gaze pulled to the drawn curtains, the light that seeps through the silk. she is leaking again, her breasts full : with no babe to feed, jena sits in silence, taking the pain as it comes. " i have eaten. " she says when baelor enters. jena knows her husband well, knows his concern is well - founded.
Gosh that last chapter was absolutely insane!!! Your writing never fails to amaze me. I’m curious why Shuji folded so easily for ichika when he first went to see her? I couldn’t tell if he was just weak willed or if he was scared of ichika telling y/n about the affair so he agreed in order to appease ichika!! I’m also curious about the convo her and shuji must have had after he finds out she’s not preggo!! It feels like she’s gone off the deep end a bit loool I mean what does she think is gonna happen when kisaki or tomio finds out that not only was she the one having an affair with shuji, but that she leaked everything and therefore jeopardized the entire deal between them?? Like girlie do you not realize who you’re playing with this is not just about hating y/n anymore!!! She’s so in over her head it’s like she doesn’t realize she’s about to incur the wrath of all these psychopaths
Also the bit where her and shuji go to the hospital and do the ultrasound I was peeing my pants because it was literally giving Casey anthony vibes with the way she just kept lying until the very last second ☠️idk if you’ve heard of Casey Anthony before but basically she was accused of murdering her daughter and when the police were investigating her she compulsively lied about the most random things and she said she worked at Disneyland except she DIDN’T so the police took her to where she “worked” and she walked around pretending that she knew everyone and kept greeting her colleagues who weren’t even her colleagues. They finally get to the end of some hallway in the Disney office and she turns around and goes “okay sooo I don’t actually work here” lmaooo

A bitter sense of self-loathing washed over him, borne from years of standing by the sidelines as his mother conceived and lost multiple babies; his father’s fists striking her abdomen, the children she cried over. His brothers and sisters who never got a chance to live.
