oh my god i’m so excited to have found someone else who looks at tøp from a plural lens! i have been saying this for ages! blurryface in particular is so plural coded! in that he shares a body with tyler and can front (deeper voice, red eyes, black paint showing that it’s him front) and ALSO that his name is nicolas bourbaki as in the name of a GROUP of mathematicians who all shared a single name collectively. i headcanon BF as a subsystem where “nico” is the one guy but he’s also the group as a collective, like how all the early concept art of blurryface / art on the CD jacket depicts him as a face made of the nine circles of dema hobbled together. and also bc my plural partners’ persecutors were arguing over who got to be blurry and i got to be like girls girls you can both be blurryface he’s more than one guy even though he’s still One Guy! and they really liked that :D. i even assigned or made up bishops for each of them and made them bracelets haha
