LAST LABORATORY EXPERIMENT. I SWEAR.
So... a bit of context:
In animal laboratories, one of the ways they dispose of their subjects when finished with them is via gas chamber -- introducing carbon dioxide into the enclosure until they suffocate. From what I understand, this is still standard, probably because it’s cheap. They say it’s one of the most humane ways of doing it. Humane my arse.
The mist/clouds are fluff. It wouldn’t actually look like this in real life, of course, but I wanted it to be atmospheric. Originally, I was gonna have him clutch at his throat, but then this image popped into my head. It’s not exactly how I envisioned it -- what I initially saw was scarier-looking than this, with basically just his paw and eyes showing and the fog being significantly thicker. That being said, I’m still somewhat satisfied with how this came out. Could’ve played with it a lot more, of course, but I didn’t want to spend forever on it.
