Ok- I have an URGE to talk about each "Perfect" Mr. Puzzles art pieces I've gotten from Art Fight since last year because these get me so giddy, you wouldn't believe it!
First attack "Perfect" Mr. Puzzles ever got! Pine did an excellent job on getting his details right and the way his wings flesh are drawn is a fascinating take as it reminisces more "muscles" than "inside out skin". His pissed off expression and body language tell us you just asked him to repeat something he was talking about to you past 15 minutes. The large eyes in the background are an excellent echo of him seeing everything he has his eyes upon. Amazing piece!
Second attack is absolutely delightful! Puzzles fiddling his volume knob like villain twirling his mustache gets me every time. The little shine on his screen is fun and clean face can indicate he's more in control than the Mass, which can also be detailed from the hat's eye being almost dead looking. Did Puzzles find a way to regain full control..? Cloud absolutely nailed his more planning mind and I love it so much for it. The simple background makes him pop so nicely!
Third attack just "screams" in a hush tone "I'm telling you this one more time, but after that, if you still don't get it, I think it's best you go get yourself... re-educated." Ukko's piece shows you the authority he believes he holds over everybody. His hunched posture is a good reminder also that the Mass is heavy on him and can press down on him with it's own authority. The small glitchy effect around him is so tasty as well as it hints his unstability with the Mass. The Mass is half-acknowledging the viewer as well with their stare...
Fourth attack- I'm sorry who the f*ck gave you the right to aura farm?? - shows the authority he does hold over everybody in his vicinity. The Mass's vines spreading from his wings to surround the area while upholding him over you in front of the multitude of TVs is almost haunting. He knows you're in his house and he knows he can use it for his own advantage. The only eyes that are actually looking at you are his own. The Mass doesn't acknowledge you. He does, smugly might I add. Cal cooked hard with this angle and I greatly appreciate it.
Fifth attack is such a luxurious piece! This is the place, this is the vibe, and this is HIS time to SHINE. He absolutely has a spot like this in his domain that's only used for private meetings, be it with Mr. WPNZ or Tii Dee (QA). He's monologuing about something to WPNZ while cornering Tii Dee in the screens as well due to the Mass feeding into his ego. Toomp's not happy about any of it, most likely having been tossed down with WPNZ moments ago due to aggravating unstable Mr. Puzzles too much by trying to counter his point. Mr. WPNZ knows they're on a borrowed time as Mr. Puzzles screen keeps getting redder and redder, indicating the Mass starting to take Mr. Puzzles mind over. There are so many amazing details in this piece, Puff absolutely went out of their way to also have fun while making this, which is great!
Sixth attack made me go feral. Jh1n did their research and they did it so well! The character anxiety and desperation is palpable- not to mention the quieter voices in the background!! It's such a good way to convey even more desperation, and control the Mass has over the trio. The Mass acknowledges Mr. WPNZ because they see him not just as a "tool", but a threat due to Toomp's meddling during WPNZ fixing. Someone they need to keep an eye on to ensure they stay in control. WPNZ wants to abscond but Puzzles desperate pleas make him hesitate. He wants to but can't abandon him. Not now, not ever again... Even if it hurts them all greatly from time to time...
Seventh attack is the first traditional and latest art piece "Perfect" Mr. Puzzles got! Porscha did such an amazing work considering we were already in the final-crunch time as the Art Fight was coming to an end! Mr. WPNZ standing nervously in attention up front while Toomp worries for his safety as The Mass has taken over and is locked onto him, hard. WPNZ knows that if he slips up from acting "perfect" and "complete" with Toomp, they're going to be in trouble before Puzzles gets the control back to reign the Mass in better. All they can do now, is serve accordingly to their rigorous standards, and hope they don't mess up.
