Convince me, please? | SeyongXJackson
There was often days in which everything just didn't go to plan. Today was one of these days. Seyong had fucked up, badly. The camp was already in disarray to begin with, without him adding to the pot of mess. Their supplies were getting lower, which was normal, but the young man had messed up on a trading deal. They got nothing in the end. People at the camp were pissed - understandably so. Seyong was pissed as well, pissed at the fact that everyone had been bagging on him all day. He was the only one at the camp who seemed to be doing a lot of work to begin with, most others seemed to just wait around and wallow in their own pity. It drove Seyong mad.
He needed to get out, get away for a while. He would probably stay in the free zone somewhere, somewhere safe of course. Taking his duffle bag which contained a tent, blankets and other such essentials, he made his way out of the camp - onlookers giving him a shallow glance as he walked past. They would get over it, then they would come crawling back to ask him for help. At least he hoped it went that way.
Walking through the forest outside the camp was always tiring. It always brought back memories from his 'previous' life, he assumed it was because he had spent countless hours trapped inside the vast forests that surrounded Seoul. Many that had spawned at the beginning of this infestation, if you could call it that. Completely forgetting about the zombies that roamed every corner, it was always peaceful, Seyong found. As most people were holed up in or around camps, the wasn't many out in the open. Most noise came from the dead walking the street, which wasn't a very pleasant one if that.
Securing a place of rest was the easy part, Seyong had cleared any dead that had surrounded the immediate area. Him and his pistol were a deadly duo, but that could be said for about nearly everyone who was still alive. Nerves could many anyone a natural born killer. Dropping his duffle bag to the ground he took out his tent and set it up, being as he had done this a lot of times, it took next to no time whatsoever. Taking another look around to ensure that no one was around, he entered the tent, lying down on the hard ground. Even blankets couldn't seem to make it any better.
"Great job, Seyong. You've done it again."
