We know that Clem is the one to confess to Louis. I think Aasim and Sophie would be the ones to confess to him 1st to... what do yout hink?

Hmmmmm.... okay, the best way for me to answer is if I go through each ship while thinking long and hard about how their dynamic would work when it comes to confessing. 

Clouis: Well, yeah, Clementine’s the first to confess in canon, but I also think that she’d be the first to confess in pretty much every scenario. At least, that’s how I see it. I like the idea of Clementine being the one to confess first anyway. 

Lousim: This one... I think I’ll have to agree with you in saying that Aasim would be the first to confess. With the way their dynamic works, I can see Louis being iffy on admitting his feelings to Aasim, especially if they had a rocky past. 

When I think of lousim, I always like to think of them never getting along because of how different they are, but then they have some sort of tragic event strike. Like losing the twins. Everything’s quiet with everyone in mourning of their lost friends. Aasim, knowing that Louis was close with the twins, goes to check on him in the piano room and finds him playing “Don’t Be Afraid.” The two finally have a nice conversation and realize “Huh... why don’t we like each other? We actually have a lot in common and get along when we try...”  From then on, the feelings start to grow. 

In the end, I see Aasim being the first to confess. 

Loulon: Louis and Marlon.... yeah, I see Marlon confessing first. I’m not big into this ship myself, but a good best friends to lovers trope? Hard to pass on that, yeah? 

Louphie: Ah, okay, so this is the first ship so far that I can see Louis confessing first. I don’t know why since I don’t know too much about this ship, nor do I have a fully formed character for Sophie, but I see Louis confessing first. It sounds right. 

Like I said before, childhood sweethearts who become an actual couple in their late teens? Louis would be confident enough with her to ask if she wants to be his real girlfriend. I can totally see it. 

Louames: Like I said in that previous louames ask, I think I’m leaning more towards Louis confessing first based on how I view James when he’s romantically interested in someone. 

Louitch: I think we all know that Louis would have to confess first. It doesn’t matter who Mitch is with, it’s never him who confesses first. When it comes to Mitch, I see him as initially rejecting such feelings before realizing he’s a dumbass. Then, he goes back like “Don’t hate me I know I’m a dumb ass... I like you, too.” 

Brouis: Brody would confess first. Totally. I see her being similar to Clementine in if she likes someone, she’s going to tell them. And with how Louis is, she’d be comfortable doing so. 

Louabe: Gabe’d confess first. It’d play out like I explained in that previous ask about them. 

Uh.... are there any that I’m missing?

Shit, that’s a lot of Louis ships...

Day 4- Modern au

An unrelated little thing I noticed while taking the card game shots...

How many ace of spades cards are in your rigged deck, Louis? 

Well apparently it doesn’t matter because James is bloody magic.

I love that when I think of Louis I can see with with EVERYONE. Say, how do you think him and James would happen?

Louames is a peculiar ship but one that has the potential to be super sweet, I think. 

I mean, it’s no secret that James sees Louis for the first time and has a mini gay panic attack. Louis makes a joke to lighten the mood and make James feel more comfortable in an awkward situation and all the poor dude can say in return is “haha funny-”

So immediately, there’s a little interest, even if it’s based entirely on looks on James’ part, but he’s someone I can see falling for Louis as he is, y’know. And with Louis being as friendly as he is, I can see him growing more fond of James over time. 

The thing with Louis is he’s fairly playful and flirty with anyone who humors him, y’know? Doesn’t matter who it is really, that’s just how he presents himself with his friends. 

It’s when he starts getting close with someone and they start flirting back that he suddenly doesn’t know what to do. Like with Clementine. She calls him cute and his brain malfunctions. 

So I can see James being similar in which he grows closer with Louis over time, develops feelings for him, and once he’s comfortable with the idea that Louis may like him back and they could potentially be a couple, he starts really flirting back. James starts going out of his way to compliment Louis on the things he does, like playing piano or improvements in his archery. 

Meanwhile, Louis is over here like “wait what” because he hopes that James likes him back, but he’s not entirely sure if James is still just humoring him or if he’s actually into him. 

That becomes much more clear when James finally admits to liking him. 

Now that I’m thinking about it though.... maybe Louis would be the first one to confess. 

I think Louis being the first to initiate the relationship would really depend on who he’s interested in, and I think in this case, he might be the first to confess. 

Mostly because I can see James being stubborn in keeping his feelings to himself outside of flirting. Y’know, because of his whole thing with Charlie and how it’s implied that relationship didn’t end that well, I can see him being hesitant with Louis finally taking a chance. 

Interesting....

Outta curiosity, what ships do you think Louis would be the first to confess, and which would have him being confessed to?

It’s Louis Ships night, y’all!

Alright, our first multi-ship night! Well, first of this kind, anyway. Tonight we’re discussing all the different Louis ships, such as: Clouis, Lousim, Loulon, Louitch, Louphie, Louames, and maybe even some Rubis? RubyxLouis? Or maybe Brouis? BrodyxLouis?

Louis is one of those characters who can be shipped with pretty much anyone at this point and I don’t know ship names for all of them haha
