so the wiki says Javi’s in his early 30s but I don’t think that’s true?? people like Clint consistently call Javi “kid,” and Max / Badger / Lonnie call Javi “boy,” implying that he’s younger than all of them. Like… I don’t think Javi is a day above like 28 tbh bc in your twenties people still sort of treat you like a kid?

idk but it makes sense to me that Javi would be drafted as a pro baller out of, idk, college, so that’s 21/22, and then ruin his career before it even really begins (Conrad says “you should have had a 20 year career” which tells me that Javi wasn’t in the league long)

and then we know 4 years pass from the prologue to when New Frontier is set, so that’d put Javi around 26/27

I’m just saying like, esp if David went to the army instead of going to college, or did college through the army, he’d be like “stop fucking around and grow up Javi” when Javi’s gambling his ball career away when HE gets out of college? bc I feel like David doing the army thru college (or instead of college) would make him mature pretty quick in comparison to Javi? idk idk idk this makes a bit of sense to me but

I really hate David, he's just such a terrible husband, father, and brother. I don't hate him just because he took AJ from Clem, I hate him for guilt tripping Javi for missing his Dad's death, I hate him for not even trying to help Javi's gambling addiction but he still has the gaul to talk shit to him about it. I just,,, really hate this man.
