The Sapling

“The Arrangement,” the demon said, making it sound like it deserved a capital letter. “D’you want to... commemorate this Arrangement in some way?”

“Perhaps.” Aziraphale thought for a moment. He knew that Crowley was offering to buy him a drink, but he had a better idea. “What about that acorn of yours?”

“Huh?”

“The acorn. That metaphor you were blathering on about. Why don’t we plant it? Create a sort of… living monument to our agreement.”

I'm lucky enough to be teaming up with the incredibly talented @tweedfeather for the @do-it-with-style-events Reverse Bang! We'll be posting the first chapter of our project, The Sapling, next week on Wednesday 10th February 2021.
