Yoga saved me in many ways. When I was working two jobs and around 60+ hours a week, it was a one-hour Saturday yoga class that soothed me. When I was battling negative body image issues and dysmorphia, it was yoga that helped me accept and respect my body and its capabilities. When I was fed up with being overworked, underpaid, and undervalued, it was yoga where I heard Spirit speak and say "it's time to think bigger". Yoga helped me breathe Yoga helped me relax Yoga helped me explore Yoga helped me connect deeper with myself. After a year of disconnect, my spirit craved yoga once again. I even tried to complete Yoga Teacher Training. Even though that's not my path right now, yoga continues to fill my spirit.
