Here I have gone back to the idea of the particles coming toward the screen, I have done this example for a premiere in london. I know there is design issue but this it to show the rough idea. 

The particles would attract to each other as they came to the readable size and then fade after so long.

I now need to work on the ideas for how the text will appear and disappear from the screen. So I am having a play on after effect to see what effects i prefer. 

Snow effect with a scrolling down effect. I think this would work for certain events

I do like the background on this idea. it is a simple idea but it could be effective. Here the text is fading on and off the screen.
