TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS PRAYER CHALLENGE Day 10...Matthew 5:46 Ouch!!! This verse jumped off the page at me. When we love those who are easy to love what have we really accomplished. WE can't love people who are unlovable. BUT with God ALL things are possible. As children of God, we are called to love those who aren't loveable. So as you say your prayers tonight, join me as I ask God to put an unlovable person in our path & give us a heart to love them as Christ does. Ask HIM to create in us a clean heart to love everyone as HE does. TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS PRAYER CHALLENGE Day 9...Acts 20:28 Tonight we had our annual candlelight communion...this ia my absolute favorite part of our Christmas tradition. It is impossible to put into words how this brings the birth of Jesus to life as we take the bread & wine...body & blood & REMEMBER why JESUS was born. To then witness new believers participating for the first time, growing families participate, elderly be assisted to walk the aisle for this, & to bask in the gift of salvation this time of year is beyond breath taking. Join me as I pray tonight for ALL of those who serve others in the name of Jesus. TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS PRAYER CHALLENGE Day 7...Matthew 18:15 As the Christmas gatherings begin to kick up our family can NOT be the only one that has folks who don't get along. This verse said a couple of things to me. First, it's ok to be upset with my family & to let them know. Then, when they let me know that they are upset with me, say "Sorry" & put it behind us. Life is too short to hold a grudge. Join me tonight as I pray for any family I have wronged or hurt. Ask God to fully restore any broken relationships this season. Our jails & prisons are full of men & women who have made some dumb choices, what a misson field. The God we serve can take the broken & make a masterpiece. Join me today & say a prayer for those who have been in the wrong place at the wrong time & are away from the ones they love through the holidays. Ask God to reveal to them the error of their ways & how to turn off the road that brought them to this point in life. Ask God to send HIS messengers to tell them the TRUTH that everyone needs to hear. TWELVE DAYS OF CHRIATMAS PRAYER CHALLENGE Day 5...Romans 5:8 If you don't have kids at home OR if the ones you have at home are older then you know what it's like to feel forgotten. As a Momma, we long for the days when our kids used to run & jump into our arms absolutely thrilled to see us. They grow up so fast...collect their own friends & step out into the depth of the unknown & form their own lives. In our neck of the woods people sometimes place crosses on the roadside to remind them of a loved one that was lost on a tragic accident. These crosses are a reminder of a loved one lost. Today, if you feel invisible or forgotten, don't worry...when we are a child of God HE doesn't forget us EVER. When HE looks at HIS children HE can see the cross where Jesus paid a debt HE didn't owe so we would be loved for eternity! Join me today in praying for those who feel like they have been forgotten. Ask God to send angels to surround them with HIS peace & love. Maybe even take a few minutes today to let the world keep on spinning & just stop & smell the roses with an old friend, a parent, grandparent, the elderly neighbor or the single parent. If your family hasn't been rocked by divorce, you have no idea what kind of shock & Awe you miss each holiday. In blended families scheduling is a big ole pain in the booty. So today join me as I pray for EVERYONE who is feeling like their Christmas is falling apart.
