As I was reading my bible this morning, the verse that stuck out the most to me was Proverbs 19:21 “You can make plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
I’m sure I am not the only one out there who always dreamed/planned their life to go a certain way by a certain age.
I am currently in a season of patience and waiting.
The Lord has me here for a reason. Just like so many of us.
So my hope is that this verse also cleanses your mind and calendar of the tasks to be “done” and instead let’s try to shift our focus to:
What does the Lord want from me today?
Who has he placed in my path today that may need to hear the good news of the Lord?
How can I glorify Him and His plan for me?
