Corvo finds himself in the city of Steelport. He wanders around, happening upon a nuclear reactor. "Well, this is...different..."

Matt, as per usual, was inside his beloved reactor. Specifically, he was in the main cooling tower giving various orders and making sure everything was running smoothly.

As he was about to check something on a nearby computer, one of his Deckers came up to him, telling him there was an unknown intruder on the premises.

The cyberpunk let out a groan and pulled up a security feed on the computer he was near. Unknowing if this man had any sort of motive, he simply watched— waiting to see what he would do.

"Hello Jessamine." Corvo smiles.

"Ah, Corvo." The Empress returns the smile. "And what brings you here?"

"The ones with the gene usually get eaten by the others." He looks at the ground. "I-I don't know. I ask myself that question everyday." He takes out his mask and stares at it.

"So these if people are affected by this gene, they become monsters, is what you are saying? Like they lost their humanity?" She was trying to understand his reason for killing. "And that mask, you wear,why do you have it? Or maybe the better question is, why do you seem so attached to that mask?"

"He's one of the few with it." He sighs. "I realize what I do is wrong, but I aim to bring peace, although murder is my means."

"Oh, so to bring peace, you have to kill people off? Its wrong and you know it. How can you live with yourself everyday with what you do, is fine? And that rat, how is it, there are only a few of them left with that gene?"

[korra-naga]

"I only kill people who have a reason to be killed. This rat has a mutant gene, making it immune to the plague."

"Mutant gene and immune to the plague? How come the rat has this ability? And killing people, is still taking someone's life whether they deserved to die or not. That shouldn't be your call."

[korra-naga]

"My city is also ravaged by a rat plague, I'm a vigilante. I protect citizens because they can't defend themselves."

"You protect citizens? How does that work being an assassin?" She pointed to the rat that was on him. "That rat looks like your friend?"

[korra-naga]

"Both."

"Well all right then. Go on and lead your assassin life. It's what you do. I don't agree with it, but thats your choice and life."

[korra-naga]

"Sometimes, I don't take lives. I've been quite peaceful lately." A rat pokes its head out of his coat pocket.

Her eyes widened, seeing the little creature. "So, what now? You've been trying to live peacefully and with your little friend there too for company? Or are you and the Empress' daughter together?"
