Twili Crystals
Some magic crystals the Twili use in my LoZ fic series The Realm Walker.
Data Crystal
This thing is featured in The Tale of the Realm Walker, and will be featured again the The Reluctant Heroine, when it's written & posted...
This thing is used to store data, as one may guess from the name. In the plot of TTRW, it is used to give details on the materials Ildia (TP Link and Midna's daughter) and Rinal (a Rito OC) need to gather to cure the curse placed on Valoo by the Big Bad. The six windows display information as floating holographic symbols.
Map Crystal
This is how Ildia carries around maps. She can scan a map by pointing the top of it towards the map. The crystal will then generate a holographic map image (out of the top bit of the crystal) that she can put pins and markers and whatnot. The base is got those little grooves in it cause I figure you'd not want to hold a full pyramid in your palm all the time.
Beacon
This thing is mentioned in The Ballad of Kass but not seen. Ildia places one of these in each of the Realms she visits as a way of monitoring it just in case the Big Bad shows up in a place she's already visited. It appears in The Reluctant Heroine, which I had actually started writing as the second thing for TRW (first was a short story that became chapter 2 of The Ballad of Kass), but I got to a scene that would have spoiled events of The Tale of the Realm Walker, so I started writing TTRW and all the other fics followed... (Basically TRW is mostly a BotW AU where the Champions were possessed by Ganon rather than outright killed, so while Link is freeing the Divine Beasts and the Champions, Ildia is helping out. In disguise of course... So TRH is her side of the story...)
