Of course, she said yes!
“Too late, i’m outside your door.”
It was a great night, if I was honest. I wish Alasandra was there, but I was happy to have found a new friend in Riley.
We traded numbers, and we’re going to hang out again (hopefully with alasandra coming along, she’d totally love him).
So it’s been a good day. I’ve gotten engaged, and met a new friend.

“Oh yes..... I love that song.”
“You know it right?”
“Of course I do!”
Our bodies close together, I prepare myself to do what I had planned. It was going to be amazing... if she said yes.
It’d been 3 years together a few days ago. Of course we had an amazing date- 5 star spa treatment: But I didn’t want to propose then. She’d expect it. Instead, I wanted to strike her when she least expected it... in the bedroom.
I tried to sneak up on her, but that woman has a sixth sense or something. As soon as she heard me “sneaking” up to her, she quickly turned and smiled.
“Hey beautiful.’
She dare call me beautiful, right? She was the gorgeous one. Her face had the usual dose of makeup (lots), her hair was perfect, bright and reminiscent of a ripe dragon-fruit. (aka pink af).
I was forced to turn on the charm.
“Morning my gorgeous artist... why don’t we head inside for a few minutes?”
“Hmm... that sounds pretty good to me aye.”
“Today, the body of missing young woman Ashlee Mendez, as identified by her dental records, has turned up in a local swamp, Police Officials have announced. Mendez was previously believed to have left the country due to use of her cards overseas, but police now allege she had never even left- with the body “clearly in the swamp for weeks”, according to police. Police are expecting the cause of death to be murder.”
“Jesus fucking christ Riley.”
“I know... and you know what that means..”
“They’re gonna say we killed her.”
“You idiotic woman... I came here to help you out!”
“Why in God’s name would I need your bloody help?!”
“Because, dumbass, I still care for you. Time may have passed, I may have made some mistakes, but I still worry for you, alright?! You know how many damn night’s I've been unable to sleep, not only thinking of Ashlee, who I thought left me... and now she’s- she’s... ugh! Damn it Alasandra, I was thinking of you too? I betrayed one of my best friends by sleeping with her girlfriend! And now- now we need to deal with this.”
“Deal with what, Riley.”
“Do you still have your television in the backyard?”
“Yes.”
“Channel 9, now.”
