Would a Broken or Twisted Vani attack their Tether?

a Broken would attack anyone, but a Twistie would only attack if their condition warranted it. Broken Vani are inherently mindlessly feral, but Twisties are just perversions of that individual. their normal self could be violent and their Twisted form could actually be gentle, if creepy as fuck

I've noticed most of the twisted characters have very contracted/one visible eye ring that's usually tanja colored (or I assume is tanja colored). Is this consistent with all twisted or just most?

It's common but not required. Prolonged intense eye contraction is a sign of IMMENSE stress, or, is a symbol of them being "disconnected" with themselves. ABSOLUTELY optional even per image of the same character, but i like it for stylization and visual cue reasons

what are some ways that a twisted can manifest? and how does the extra syllable pertain to the way it manifested?

Extra syllable is up to you. Can be relevant, can be gibberish, can even be ignored and not used. It isn't a hard rule thing and is more of just a tendency the kwaiz do.

Twisties are just chaos. They manifest as a physical or identity distortion. see Chyeramor or Nosverussah or Kezahalkro for some examples of twisties existing thus far.

There is something mysterious with them in-universe.
