Random Revival Storytime:
Twitches Three edition
Ok it's October and after just rewatching the Twitches movie (thank you Disney+) 🥰 I find out the Mowry sisters have been talking about a Twitches 3!! On top of me seeing the alternate ending for Twitches Too, and my joy of creating story plots of revivals; I thought I'd give this a crack....
Quick recap of the Too alternate ending:
Miranda (the twins mom) has an (evil?) sister, Minerva, who drops by and notices the twins saying one of them reminds her of herself...
Miranda then says something like it wasn't "my" fault
Minerva says it isn't easy to get rid of her this time, sets the flowers on fire and leaves
Plot time:(mostly based on the movie-verse not books)
It's been [insert amount of time depending the the actors we cast as the new twins] years since Cam and Alex have seen each other. Cam has been "banished" from Coventry, while Alex has been ruling the island and taking care of her twin daughters. One day Alex goes missing and her daughters (Sierra and Sahara) find out they have an Aunt they have never heard about who is living in another dimension and go to find her in hopes it will help find their mother.
***SPOILERS for a thing I haven't fully written yet that I've just thought of rn? 😅****
10 years ago, Alex and Cam's Aunt Minerva made true to her promise and came back to Coventry set on revenge towards her sister and her nieces. In an epic battle, Cam, being the sister of the sun and connects with Minerva through fire, ultimately uses a spell to trap Minerva in her sun amulet and seals her by binding their magic together. Cam makes the sacrifice of leaving Coventry, against Alex's pleas of staying, saying they Minerva is strong and she doesn't know if or when her powers will corrupt her so to keep her family safe she must leave.
Minerva's son, Alex and Cam's cousin (played by Tahj Mowry 😇) Polaris/Rian alias in *our dimension,* who has been in our dimension since the first incident (the first/orginal one involving Miranda and Minerva). Rian ends up finding his way to Elysian, a desolate place (the birthplace of Miranda and Minerva), after growing up with powers he never fully understood. He discovers Miranda is the reason why he grew up without his mother (not fully getting the whole story on why) and blames her. And then hears about Minerva being trapped by his cousin, the ruler of Coventry. Adding to his anger he learns that Coventry thrives yet Elysian is in disrepair, a place that was in his birthright to rule but couldn't because he never knew. Rian sneaks into Coventry and kidnaps Alex, taking her to Elysian, in attempts to release his mother not knowing she isn't the one who has her. Alex there learns about the place of her mother and aunts birth sadly seeing the state it is in.
