a talk to remember♫

Bottles clinked over the sound of hair metal playing from a corner of the dingy room while one seemingly out of place soul took a seat at the bar. In slacks, though he’d replaced his typical blazer and button-up combo with a simple t-shirt, Chanshik laughed lightly at the daily special on a chalkboard behind the bar. “Apple martini’s, huh? I’ll take one of those, thanks.”
A single brow crooked over mismatched eyes as he swiveled about to scan the place. It wasn’t the typical venue for a meeting and certainly not one meant solely for a talk, but the deity couldn’t help feeling at home and anonymous in the rowdy atmosphere. If there was a better place to feel under the radar, as mundie’s liked to call it though deuce if he knew what that was, the poet hadn’t a clue where it might be. When the front door swung open a few moments later, cinnamon hued gaze swung that way and he gave a crooked wave.
Painstakingly slowly, the former bard took a sip from his drink, fingers curled gingerly around the glass’ stem. “Thanks for showing up,” he began. “Look, I’m not usually this nos— Actually, I am this nosy pretty much perpetually, but I mean well.” Setting it back on the bar, Chanshik aimed a tiny grin at the other. “You can walk out any time you like. I’m not gonna try to stop you. I might have something of interest to say though, might even help. It has been known to happen from time to time.”
“So,” a sharp exhale and he plunged into the crux of his concerns, “what’s holding you back from Seokjin? You two seem real sweet and I’m a fan of happy endings.”
