6. there’s a wedding ring in the dessert—but its not our muses’

Henry and Finn where sitting in a restaurant.

Some good food, steaks, beer. It was just a regular evening between two friends. Henry was even drunk enough too laugh at Finn’s cheap jokes.

"I guess you had enough beer today Henry…" Finn grinned as he saw Henry. He never saw the other man so relaxed, even happy. It was strange too see him like that, but it felt damn good.

"Hehehe, yeaaaah… maybe…" Henry grinned at Finn. "How about something sweet before we go?" he asked, already studying the menu.

Finn looked over his shoulder, well there wasn’t much of desserts here. Damn.

"Oh god damn! They have tiramisu here?! Oh fuck yissssss" Henry almost squeeked.

"Geez. Calm down. Never thought you would be so talkactive when you’re drunk. I need to get used to that! But fine, for me too then." Finn shrugged as they ordered their food, while of course drinking more beer.

Finn looked up as the waiter arrived with their plates, grinning at Finn.

The man in the white suit looked confused at the waiter but he said nothing.

Henry already started eating and sighed. "Goooood. That’s sooooo good! I  wish I was able to get it to taste like heaven…" he murmed while Finn could just shake his head with a smile.

"Hmng?!" Henry stopped eating as he bit something damn hard.

Finn looked up at him. “Something wrong? Are you okay?” he asked worried.

Henry turned away from Finn, covering his mouth with one hand while he pulled the hard thing out of his mouth with the other one. But as he saw WHAT he held in his hand he chocked on the tiramisu he had in his mouth.

"What the hell??" Henry asked more than confused to Finn and showed him the ring. And Finn was just as shocked as Henry was.

"Finn, are you crazy?! You’re not me type! Also we don’t even know each other THAT much!” Henry said irritated.

"Are you fucking serious?! That’s not mine!! How the hell are you thinking-?!" Finn said offended but then had too laugh.

"Really?! Really??? Oh god HENRY! You should have seen your face! Geez. The ring wasn’t ment for this table I guess…" Finn laughed, while Henry was still confused.

Finn asked the waiter and indeed. The ring wasn’t for them but for a couple at the other end of the restaurant. Of course that was embarrassing for all of them, but at least Finn and Henry would laugh so hard that everybody else would turn their heads after them.
