This is like a combination of my Arthurian obsession and Merlin plus Hannigram. Perfection.

Plus it's BOTH Mads and Hugh??? Like yes please I will happily obsess over them both. Two for the price of one movie.

Hugh's hair!!! And beard!!! And Mads' too the little braid!!! Also Hugh's accent my god.

I'm sorry but literally Hannigram. “I don’t kill for pleasure. Unlike some.” (Galahad/Hugh), “Well, you should try it someday, you might get a taste for it.” (Tristan/Mads) — I mean, come one. Is that not part of Will’s struggle throughout the show? Not killing for pleasure? And ‘unlike some’ could so be directed at Hannibal (bc, yk). That’s not even considering Tristan’s encouraging response, because that’s literally what Hannibal spends his time trying to achieve — getting Will to kill with him, which they do to the Dragon at the end. And the “taste for it” just feels way too specific. Again, Hannibal wants Will to acquire a taste for death and murder, but also literally “taste”, the man’s a cannibal it does not get more obvious than that. And you’re telling me they didn’t have premonitions of the future when coming up with those lines? The foreshadowing is insane. Hannigram before Hannigram istg Will and Hannibal are just their reincarnations.

And what's their ship name? I think I've seen people call them 'Medieval Murder Husbands' before so that's what I'm going with (it just rolls of the tongue so well).

Interesting version of the sword in the stone story. This film definitely has a lot of unique approaches to the traditional legends.

I actually really enjoyed the spin this movie took. It was a good film with a great soundtrack and cinematography, and lots of enjoyable action and battle scenes.

And, yk, it has both Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy in it. Hannibal 2.0.
