One day, every 100 years.
I just realized how Sexton's clip looks dull and gloomy, while Death's clip is bright with the sun illuminating her and their surroundings. I love how it symbolizes their view on life and what it means to live especially considering how Sexton wanted to 💊 in the first place.
On the one day where Death takes a break, she instead prevents it by letting Sexton see the beauty of life by genuinely living it to the fullest. He has free will to do anything he wants, while Death (or Didi for that matter) is destined to serve all of humanity until the very end.
It's all she's ever gonna get, one single day. So why not enjoy it while it lasts? Sexton realizes that and what it means to be human, what it means to live because Death herself helped him see that.
This is why I love her so much.
