Dumb ideas and Dumb reasons

So I need to come up with a project I need to make in February, a long way off aye, for film class but they want the first draft written for January along with a number of budgets, advertising and all other kindsa junk. So I figured I ought to settle on my idea ahead of time, so I have...two right now. I figured I'd throw em here so I don't forget them and get some folks opinions on stuff.

1st idea is kinda like a parody of sport films, think Blades of glory, but it's darts for a change. Includes mostly normal folk playing darts and the seedy underbelly of the darts world. Would have lots of angles and pivots, probably require me to mount a jib for a solid week of swerve shots.

Film would be about the pub rivalry of two blokes and I'd grandise it with spot lights and probably filming in the pro darts venue down the road with spot lights and, hopefully, baying crowds. Kinda shows how seriously some people can take a hobby I guess, without trying to be throughly insulting about that.

2nd Idea is a revenge flick in which the villain is our central focus. Think a slasher flick bad guy like Jason meets ClockWork Oranges Alex and go from there. Mostly a dissection of revenge films through the eyes of the unkillable zombie killer. And a good opportunity to have my main guy ramble on about the strangeness of being dead and how life is kinda dull.

Probably a short kinda deal, lots of makeup effects and a couple of quicky fight scenes in which a shovel and a hammer play a big part. Told sort of in reverse as the zombie killer narrates the past few hours to his final victim in hospital and just how awkward getting revenge is when you can't feel the "warm fuzzies" that he assumes came with it.

This just mostly rambly stuff I won't do it often. Just thinking and I think better when I write it down, I think.
