Ending up doing both, dark purple with pinkish, and then some white.
Resting on the bobbin now, but how does it look? 🥺
dictatorship?
I have to finish this silk and then I can finally work on the steaming experiment!
But the motor run hot and now the eew needs a break 😅
Two ply tussah silk
10grams I wonder what the yardage will be 👀
I am aware that i can spin fairly fine with the right tools and fiber, but now that i am winding my knoddy knoddy it translates it better into my brain. That is downright unbelievable
I mean, these are 10 TEN threads
At least it's a bit inconsistent 🤣 so i feel better about myself
Also who wants to bet how much yarn this is? I haven't worked enough with lace weight to estimate the yardage. 100g in roughly 32 WPI
Aaaand time for a bath!
100g 32wpi 1000m/1090yards now THAT sounds about right!
I am TIRED now!
✨all plyed✨
Now I have to let it rest a bit and then i can count how much i have 👀
Rewound the silk i soun ages ago, to know how many meters i have, so i can search for projects better 👀
806m!
Also i want to overdye it, because while the roving was beautiful, the color bleed onto each other. And i want the lace to be in the center of attention not the chaotic color.
