❤️ Goodbye Two Scoop
I had a bad feeling when I woke up this morning, and usually I’m not wrong. Two Scoop passed away overnight. I had fed him before bed, and it looks like he came out to stuff his cheeks with seeds and then passed away just outside his burrow. He died doing what he loved: eating lots and lots
Two Scoop was a foster fail. He came to me from a private rescuer who was overwhelmed with animals and didn’t have the best husbandry. He went from a 10g to a 50g bin but he still wasn’t satisfied. He chewed out and I found him on top of my female syrian’s enclosure (Furiosa)… Luckily he did not manage to make his way in, but he was moved into a 75g glass enclosure immediately and finally he was happy! He was such a sweetie and would lick my wife’s fingers. She was the one who named him because he looked “like two scoops of ice cream”
He was very close to 3 years old, and he lived a good long life and even recovered beautifully after needing an eye removed- my vet had just looked over his eye on Friday and said it had healed exactly as they hoped! ❤️
He was a very good boy.
