99 Perspectives on a Single Love Story #74
A/N: The Story of Kurt and Blaine told through the eyes of everyone else but them. Each chapter is a different perspective in the ongoing tale of their love story.
I started something like this a while back - and now I’m taking the idea and really running with it. Each chapter is a ficlet of a different character at a different point in Kurt and Blaine’s life - documenting their love story. This starts in Audition, and each chapter will be paired with a different episode until reaching Dreams Come True.

Hello Dear Reader,
You’re probably wondering where Chapter 74 is. Well, like the mythical 19th Story of Wayside School (are any of you old enough to get that reference?) it may or may not exist. Of course - there has to be a 74th chapter, because there are, in fact, 99 chapters in this story, but as you can see, this one doesn’t seem to be here.
If there was a Chapter 74, it would be titled, most expectedly, as such:
Cody Tolentino (Previously Unaired Christmas)
And it would be a pithy and dark little story about a fake Santa with not fake abs thinking about how he’s going to rob a bunch of unexpecting bunch of 19yos while getting them all drunk and performing sexual acts, some of which are of dubious consent. One of the kids would be too broken-hearted over his ex to really care what was going on, and all of them are too naïve to suspect that Cody is really that asshole who does not care about how he’s about to blindside these kids with a healthy dose of reality.
Welcome to the real New York City, guys!
And don’t worry - there was plenty of room to get in a clever reference to Blaine and that Yule Log. ;)
Well, due to the ghastly subject matter and blatant censorship of what would have been a biting satire, it turns out that Fox Network has confiscated the chapter and currently has it locked in a vault, which is probably the best place for it. And it is really fine by me, because not only does it offer no real commentary of note, it abruptly stops the flow of storytelling I had going.
Maybe someday you'll read it, just like that there was one kid who actually did make it to the 19th floor of Wayside School.
Until then, we can all go on pretending it doesn’t exist…
Happy Holidays,
Your Most Diligent and Ever-Grateful Author
