Gliddyup, the Pegasus Pokemon

Gliddyup's Hidden Ability is Personal Touch, which amplifies the stat changes provided by its Nature.

Gliddyup's previous design only had the one hair shape and color. In the redesign, she now has 5 mane shapes, which are dependent on the stat that is boosted, as well as 5 mane colors, dependent on the stat that is lowered. The "default" Gliddyup above is a Gentle nature.

Attack up has a side cut, and Attack down is a blue color.

SpAtk up has big bangs, and SpAtk down is a red color.

Defense up has a ponytail, and Defense down is a pink color.

SpDef up has the curly hair, and SpDef down is a green color.

Speed up has spiky hair, and Speed down is a yellow color.

Moistquito, the Drainage Pokemon Moistquito gorge on moisture in all its forms. It uses its long nozzle mouth to steal from people's drinks. A stream of water runs from Moistquito's mouth to its tank. It can pressurize the stream to create legs.

Types: Bug / Water Ability: Drain Tank — Moistquito is immune to draining effects, and its own at 50% more powerful. Hidden Ability: Water Absorb Signature Move: Get a Buzz — Bug | Special | 60BP | Up to half the damage dealt gets restored as HP. If the user's HP is already full, it lowers the target's Special Defense one stage instead.

Despite its small size, Moistquito is a fully evolved Pokemon, chewing up foes with double boosted drain moves. It wouldn't have a great HP stat to cap out how much it heals, but doesn't mind being at full HP, turning its signature ability into a better Bug Buzz while it's there. Just be careful of chip damage, healing 10 damage is still healing.

Weargoyle, the Gargoyle Pokemon Much of its face and lower body have been etched and worn away by rushing water. It has developed a large shell to try to protect it from the rain.

Types: Poison / Rock Ability: Storm Drain / Intimidate Hidden Ability: Precipitate — Summons acid rain on entry.

While Weargoyle's primary purpose is as a free acid-rain setter, it can stack Storm Drain with Air Balloon to be quite switchinable for a Rock type. Weargoyle's attacking stats are equal, letting you take it either direction or invest in defenses and rock out as a mixed attacker.

Caliglo, the Warning Pokemon Following the train derailment outside Bascule City, a great deal of hazardous material was left in the area. We have confirmed this is the cause of the recent outbreaks of caustic rain in the area, but this detail is not to be released to the public. The toxic air around the breached and spread materials has made cleanup difficult. One good thing has come of the disaster, however. A population of feral Calicozy had lived in the impact zone, and has adapted to the hostile environment rather than expire. Legal and Marketing are currently trying to figure out ways we can copyright these without raising the ire of the entire region. The Pokemon, currently codenamed "Caliglo" exhibits behavior far different from the other polluted specimens, in particular it is able to breed and evolve without extreme methods. Caliglo appears to be a natural evolution of Caliglo in the face of a new environment, such as the changes in Manakan Sneasel, or the evolution of Eevee around the mythical "Moss Rock." Caliglo are extremely tough, and completely immune to the toxic environment in the crash area. Even in areas of low contamination, the green patches on Caliglo's coat glow, alerting everyone to the nearby danger. This glow intensifies with contamination level, letting them be used as living sensors to help teams get deeper into the area with relative safety. The green color is muted outside the contaminated area, allowing the Pokemon to exist in most public spaces under the guise of being a particularly chubby Calicozy. Because of this, we have been planting Caliglo in important positions to be on the lookout for the contamination.

Types: Poison/Dark Ability: Geiger Counter — As Pokemon take damage from poison, Caliglo increases its most proficient stats in sequence. Toxic poison raises by two stages instead. [Best stat the first tick, second best the second tick, start at the best stat again on the sixth tick] Hidden Ability: Corrosion Evolution: Calicozy evolves into Caliglo when it levels up in an irradiated area. Gender Split: 75% Female, 25% Male Egg Group: Field; Unlike Calicozy, male Caliglo can breed.

Capricard, the Referee Pokemon It has become a master of the Goatlie's game. It now acts as a referee when they play, and occasionally plays it with other Capricard. It stops plays by whistling into its horns, which blasts a loud sound from the openings in the top.

Types: Grass/Rock Ability: Mold Breaker / Throw Out — The first time this Pokemon is attacked, it will randomly switch out the attacker. This occurs before it faints, and not during Wild Battles. Hidden Ability: Grassy Surge

At level 33, Goatlie evolves into Capricard, changing from a little league goalie to a referee and changing the theming of its ability. Randomly across Manaka, you can encounter Goatlie and Capricorn already in the process of a soccer game, and encountering them in this state is how you get their Hidden Ability.

Threadbear, the Flailing Arm Pokemon Abandoned stores need to be cleared out quickly, or they are certain to be overrun by Threadbear. Some claim they are only trying to hug those it finds, but its hugs are known to break bones. Every Threadbear has a unique set of patches, buttons, and tears. It is suspected they use their needle claws to stitch themselves up, but it has never been observed directly.

Types: Ghost/Fighting Abilities: Unnerve/Fluffy Hidden Ability: Klutz Signature Move: Needle Punch — Ghost | 70 BP | 5 PP | Physical | Threads entangle Threadbear and the foe, copying negative effects from Threadbear onto the target while they're both in battle. Negative effects include item negation from Klutz and Embargo, Fire weakness from Fluffy, stat drops, status conditions, confusion, infatuation, and most reflectable moves (those caught by Magic Bounce, such as Taunt, Torment, Encore, Disable, Mean Look, Whirlwind, Yawn, Powder, Quash, Leech Seed, and Worry Seed; except for hazards.)

If there's one thing Manaka has too much of, it's space. That space is sometimes taken for granted, with large buildings lying empty for years. At first, these buildings will be the target of suburban explorers, until Threadbear eventually move in. While thought to be its own Pokemon for many years, recent research has confirmed the rumors that Threadbear is an evolution of Stufful when the Pokemon spends too long in these abandoned places. Pokemon professors urge trainers not to bring their own Stufful to these abandoned areas until the evolution method is better understood.

Sprizer, the Claw Spider Pokemon Sprizer are a common pest, noisily scuttling around and stealing small items. If they get too bold, they may drop from above onto people's heads. If left alone, Sprizer will build strange cubic webs with colorful bait to lure in Stufful and children to steal their quarters.

Types: Steel Signature Ability: Pneumatic Grip — Pokemon trapped by Sprizer take additional damage at the end of each turn. Hidden Ability: Mercurial — Boosts the Pokemon's Special Attack stat, but lowers its accuracy.

Sprizer is an uncommon encounter in both the abandoned mall and city biomes, and can be found scrambling around on its four legs, or suspended inside glass cases that are sometimes item gets and sometimes Sprizer encounters. Static Sprizer are less likely to cling onto the items in their nest, giving them their (non-signature) Hidden Ability rather than signature one.

Sprizer is specially oriented, at low levels using Swift, Mirror Shot, Confusion, Stockpile, and Infestation, with the later and Spider Web being their main way of enabling Pneumatic Grip. To evolve Sprizer, it must get a one-hit knockout on a Stufful, Bewear, or Threadbear that is level 25 or above. Conversely, a level 25 or above Stufful evolves into Threadbear by being one-hit by a Sprizer or its evolution; this evolution can also be triggered by it fainting by any means in an abandoned mall biome.

Dillow, the Drifter Pokemon Dillow are skittish, as their apparent armor is much softer than it appears. Instead they prefer using their claws to quickly bury themselves underground to hide. It takes a long time to earn the trust of a Dillow, but they can become the most loyal of friends to those who manage to do so.

Types: Ground/Fairy Ability: Sand Veil Hidden Ability: Drifter — In double battles, this Pokemon takes no damage from spread moves.

Dillow scurry across all of Manaka, hiding on the edge of your vision or hiding underground as you pass. In-game this shows off as Dillow being a rare encounter in nearly every biome.

Modeled after the American Midwest, Manaka is a very flat region, having a dearth of the wild geography and dungeons that build a typical region. In their place, Manaka offers Roadside Attractions, alternate routes and mini-dungeons and tourist traps to make the long road between places more interesting, with a high chance of Pokemon encountered there having their Hidden Ability. One of the early ones is Patrat Town, a large population of Patrat and Watchog, which also has the best chance of finding Dillow.
