Kim and I marathoned all of The Tenth Kingdom today and gosh it was a journey omg. We'd both seen it when we were younger but only recalled bits of it. We certainly didn't remember how incredibly sexually charged Wolf was and how pretty much EVERYTHING he said about Virginia had innuendo to it. Still not over how the two adjectives he used the most (and i mean,,, whenever she is mentioned- which is Often) for her were "creamy" and "succulent" im,,,,,
All day, pretty much all I could think was "I love Wolf" and "I want to write for Wolf" cause HOW FUN would it be to write for an oddball half wolf who falls head over heels for a woman based on a photo of her and then finds her at her grandma's house, only to think that the most logical thing would be to tie up and spice up her grandma so he could cook her and serve her for breakfast. Not to mention he read a shitload of self help books to genuinely try to better himself for Virginia. We STAN an unhinged half human half wolf fighting his primal urges with an actually interesting arc.
Maybe one day i'll write for him, but i reckon nobody's interested in that aha
Kim ended up remembering much more about the show than I did, but one of the reasons we decided to watch it was because the LITERAL only thing about it that I could remember was that (spoilers i guess? it came out in 2000 tho lol) at the very end Wolf knew Virginia was pregnant with his "little wolf baby" 🤣🤣🤣
I had such a fun day and im so so happy i rewatched this series! If you read all the way through, thanks for doing so loool, i needed someplace to put my rambling. If you do know about the tenth kingdom and want to talk about it too, chat's always open! ❤️
