After a while, paint trays become virtually useless (old cracked dried paint etc) so instead of just throwing them out, I make them into art. I love the thought of never letting anything fall by the wayside because it's "disposable." . . Everything has beauty. Anything and everything can be art if you let it. Just because society tries to tell us something is garbage does not mean we have to listen. Find beauty in that garbage. "Pro" Acrylic Paint on 11x14 Using palette knife as ONLY tool. . I really love how this piece turned out. It started as just an experiment to see if I could do a whole painting using ONLY a palette knife and odd colors that I don't generally use and it ended up being one of my all-time favorites.
