"I don’t know anyone.” Saeran replied simply, with a look of disdain on his face. He shifted his gaze towards the idol who had settled at his side: he knew who she was without even having to do a search on her. Azusa Miura was a ‘homegrown celebrity’ around the city and it was hard not to hear about her when he was out and about in the city. He didn’t particularly like talking about his past, and hoped for a moment that she wouldn’t further question his words.

He gave a small, almost innocent smile before turning away again. “Everyone is only looking out for themselves. If you give them the chance, they will stab you in the back.”

“No matter what, there’s only one person I care for. If I am to be tied to anyone, I would want it to be her!”

Usagi licked the remaining chocolate off her lips, and gave a slight “heh.” She knew she should’ve felt bad for eating all the treats sitting in the bowl near Azusa’s front door. It had taken them forever to pick out all the bags of candies, since they both decided to shop last minute for Halloween goodies. She couldn’t help herself though; she had such a huge sweet tooth. It was to be expected. 

“ C’mooooon! The trick or treaters can eat the rest! I left like… two bags left. It’s enough to last the entire night! “

🎷 || “What the hell? This melody is totally off-tune here.” The red-haired man grunted as he read through his sheet. He had settled himself in the recording studio today to practice his new song. Earlier, he had received the music sheets from the agency’s composer.

He continued reading through the sheets, his frown increasing.

“And here. And over here. What kind of song is this?” The music notes seemed extraordinarily too high for his vocal range and less powerful to suit his style. Were they trying to force him to do a change in style? That wasn’t in his goddamn contract!

And then, Issei suddenly realized that he was given the wrong song.

“Oh for crying out loud...”
