Why is he telling her this? She doesn’t get it and she doesn’t like it. “Is that...Is that what you tell yourself everyday? Is that why it’s so easy to do the things you do?” She regrets her question, because it’s SO obvious. He does the things he does because it IS easy. He has no attachment, she feels like. He keeps his distance, he kills as if it’s a game of tag. No big deal. To her...it’s a HUGE deal. They’re so different. 

“people like you...” People like him...

“I don’t want to live like that. You can save your advice for yourself.” She’s still scared of this Yamazaki, but today...TODAY she will stand her ground. She has friends to back her up.

Grimm's encounter with Ismael had him concerned and worried. The way she'd spoken, it was as if something had happened; she wouldn't say, and Grimm wasn't going to force his friend... but he could still investigate elsewhere. He wasn't sure he'd even find anything—it could have been something incredibly personal that took place behind closed doors, after all.

Crime was hardly anything odd to Spirale, so most of the things he'd heard were utterly pointless to him. There was one rumor from the past few days that stood out to him, though. A girl matching Ismael's description disappeared with a strange man in one of the lower districts of Fibonacci. It could be a coincidence, but it was worth checking out. There were also a few murders found from that same night, but it probably wasn't related, he thinks.

Finding this “strange man” was certainly more annoying than Grimm expected, though. All he had to go off of was a description: someone extremely muscular, blond hair with black on the bottom, a big coat, blah, blah, blah... He'd scoured around Fibonacci, but there was no immediate sight of anyone like that. Occasionally, he'd run into someone who mentioned seeing someone like that, but they didn't know anything further. How very bothersome.

Oh well. Grimm doesn't really mind, and although most people down here either don't have money or probably aren't interested in arts of the stage, this has still been a chance to get his name out in the ward he visits the least. The street magician has been hanging around the outside of this sketchy bar all day, flagging people down to show them magic tricks. Some were amused, some ignored him, and some cussed at him; no one was really tempted to truly mess with him based on his appearance.

It's getting much later, and Grimm absently sighs as he leans against the wall of a building. It almost seems like tonight's performances won't bear fruit in the way he really wants, until a street light illuminates a certain man walking by. Hmm... This could be the one.

The whimsical Troupe Master spins to place himself in front of Yamazaki, smiling impishly with eyes glowing scarlet as he spreads his deck of cards like a fan.

“Good eve, my friend. I am a wandering magician, showing my ability to all upon this fine night. I find my most exciting trick to be mind reading. Care to test me?”

((Honestly, Waka is very chill with other worlds and finds them interesting. Where he is from, these worlds are referred to as realms, and between the lunar, mortal and celestial (heavens) realms, there is much he has come to like and take interest in.

He also regrets how his people, the Moon Tribe of the lunar realm, pretty much doomed all three.))
