On April 24 and 25, BOYD SUGIKI and LISA ZERKOWITZ will teach a two-day master glassblowing workshop on tumblers and bowls.
Tumblers and bowls are deceptively simple forms. This two day workshop will help you to refine your skills and increase your confidence through deconstruction of the key elements of each. Participants will discover how to use heat to effectively shape and form glass. Participants will also learn to create thinner pieces and work more efficiently. Glassblowing experienced required. Boyd Sugiki and Lisa Zerkowitz met at Rhode Island School of Design, where Sugiki earned his M.F.A degree and Zerkowitz earned her M.A. degree. Upon completing their degrees, the two moved to Seattle, where they now operate Two Tone Studios. Renown for their work, the two travel the US and the world teaching and exhibiting their work.
