I tried exactly that today and it didn't work out. He decided that he wants better for us both, especially himself, since he thinks although I want him to do everything he strives for, I will hold him back. He can't do the distance, not just with me, but he doesn't think at all. I want to be there for him through it all and now I can't be because he got scared.

So does he wanna break up? O_o Or what?

My boyfriend is in the Army ROTC and is getting his orders part by part... he's letting all of this get to him. He graduates in May and I will in December and he doesn't think he can do the distance even though I can visit and move after December. He's admitted he's afraid and doesn't think he can do it... Any advice on how to calm his nerves and keep him trying for us?

Just let him know he shouldn't get nervous or scared until he gives it a chance. For all he knows, it won't be THAT bad. Especially with proper communication and frequent visits. Tell him to relax and let him know that you're not going anywhere and that you'll do everything you can to make things work on your end and you need him to do the same on his. Being LDR can be a little scary and intimidating, but once you're actually going through the motions, it's not that bad! <3

I have a cold right now and I feel kinda awful but I go to the New Year's Eve party tonight anyway.

I stopped eating meat after few classes in dissecting because it reminded me too much of human flesh.

I want to recover from depression but I know a small part of me is trying to stay sick because sometimes it's easier that way..

I held in my hands human brain 2 weeks ago. The feeling was indescribable.

I'm really ambitious but lazy at the same time (if that makes any sense hahaha).

1) I just made a smoothie with chia seeds and it is delicious.2) I'm going on a mission for my church so I'll be gone for a year and a half starting next spring (I'm really really excited)3) If I could bottle the smell of rosemary, I would wear it all the time. 4) Bobby somehow always has the exact words I need to hear when I am overly stressed out, and for that I am forever thankful. 5) My all-time favorite book is Stargirl.

Eep! Just did blue but for some more, right now I happen to be listening to that :( playlist I have, and My Chemical Romance's Disenchanted is on. I get pretty weird when I'm sad. 

Harry Potter: Last book I finished was The Wild Things by Dave Eggers, which is an extended version of the children's book Where The Wild Things Are, and also was written in parallel with the movie. AKA it's Maurice Sendak approved. However since then, I have started JK Rowling's The Casual Vacancy, Ken Kesey's Sailor Song, and Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex. I'm very bad at reading just one book at a time.

Teacher: What I aspire to be: This is tough because I genuinely do not know. I wanted to be a writer and that's still kind of a lost dream, I guess. I haven't written really anything in almost two years. But yesterday I got a call from one of my old english teachers who asked me how my first book is coming. I just laughed and told her I still needed her help. Mostly, I want to have a lot of money because regardless what people say, money can buy happiness. And I would prefer a job that travels, and that requires me to speak other languages. Something challenging and ever-changing.
