The buzzing had changed ever since she gave Trein the photograph. It had become something like a faint whisper. She disliked this very much.

Each time she thought someone was vaguely speaking to her, so she turned around and no one was there. She began to be quite unfocused on her work. Thanks to the Great Seven, she had 'unlimited' time to do them… Even with all this time, she needed to hurry because the Magift tournament was the day after. She spent her whole week making the stadium shiny for the guests.

She finished repairing the sinks in the ladies room when the sun was setting. She needed sleep. A lot of sleep. But sleep would be on Sunday sadly. She needed to see the babies performance. She would also finish her Giktok about Cynthia's magic remover.

She dragged herself to the dorm. [Do not set a bad example and don't go to sleep before dinner…]

She made some lasagna for tonight. The children loved it.

Yuu spoke with their mouth full. "Can't wait for tomorrow !"

Victoria arched an eyebrow. "Don't speak with your mouth full. It is impolite. What is happening tomorrow?"

Yuu gluped their food while the cat answered her. "We will catch the bad guys and do a Magift match !! They are going to see how awesome we are !"

Yuu continued. "Our plan is idiot proof ! No way we will fail !"

Victoria sighed. "I don’t want anyone to be hurt, ok ?"

Yuu and Grim nodded. "Of course !"

[I should prepare the first aid kit for the overblot aftermath…]

That evening, the woman hurried the children to their room -again- to put the second layer of remover. Like the day before, she ventilated the room while putting the product. She read some alchemy books before closing the blinds. The whispers made reading too complicated because she wasn’t focused. She read the same sentence 10 times before quitting.

She went to bed, hoping for a good night of sleep.

She opened her eyes after multiple hours thinking that it was going to be another sleepless night like when she was in her thesis.

She was… in front of a tower. A small yellow tower. As if she was possessed, she knocked on the door.

A man opened it. He was old, a long gray beard, big grey eyebrows and a full blue gown-pointy hat combo.

"You're…  Yen Sid ?" She asked in her trance.

Before he could answer anything, she sank to the ground, waking up in reality.

She was sweaty. Like when you had a vivid nightmare. She looked at the clock. 5:00 a.m.

She got out of her bed. She needed a bath to relax and think about what she just lived.

While the bath was drawn-out, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was glued to her face due to the sweat. She had humongous dark circles too. She would need makeup to cover them…

She got inside the warm water. "Aaaaah… I just need some bath bombs and it would be perfect. Maybe Sam has some ? He has everything…"

[I am pretty sure I dreamt about Yen Sid. He has quite the appearance after all. Am I having those dreams like when Yuu met with Mickey ? Am I the chosen one ??? Will I get a keyboard too ? Crowley has one after all, why not me ? … Oh yeah, because I am a coward. I can't do sh*t except what's on WeTube.] She laid lower in the bath. [Maybe I am a heart princess ?] The thought made her laugh. [Yeah what a princess I am. Unable to distinguish what's real and what's not…]

When it was 7:00 a.m. she got out of her bath tube. She wasn't aware her bath was this long. She turn around the furniture to find a strange pipe with a 'be careful, hot' warning on the box next to it. Was this… a mana heater ? 

So she had an old dorm but it was full of old mana furniture? She could open a museum here !!

…. Maybe as her last way to earn money ? -As if she needed more-.

She decided to be classy for once and put on a tea length skater dress. It was black with a red underlining, peeking out the bottom of the dress. She searched high and low in the leather suitcase and got some derbies out of it. They were her favorites: black and white like in Tiger and Bunny.

She also put a LOT of makeup on to hide her dark circles. She did a red and gold halo makeup. It would change from everyone cut crease eyeshadow!

Before she got out of her room, she took her pills, adding a bit more of antipsychotic to the mix. On her prescription it was written 1.5 to 2 pills, so she should be alright…

Victoria was curious about the brain map in front of her. It was colorful, going from blue to white. Most of her right brain and about a third of her left brain were bright white. From what she remembered from anatomy class, the left brain is logic and the right is about creativity.

The doctor pointed to the right blob. “This explains your voices. Basically your brain is creating them and your left brain is not able to differentiate from reality. The over activity of your brain is unable to shut down and create your sleepless nights. What is your usual treatment ?”

Victoria thought hard to remember. “Uuuuh. A thymo-regulator, two antipsychotics in small doses and a relaxing pill to help induce sleep.”

The doctor pondered hard. “I see… Can you tell me a bit more about the molecules ? It would help me avoid creating a chemical shock.”

The young woman explained the dosage and the name of the molecules to the man in white robe. He nodded multiple times and took notes on his computer.

After what felt like an eternity, he prescribed her a stronger antipsychotic, some sleeping pills and asked her to increase the thymo-regulator. He also gave her a 2 week rest at home notice for Crowley, advising her to do the bare minimum and sleep through it.

She paid what seemed to be an enormous price and left the office.

Once outside, she bought a sandwich to eat while waiting for the bus. The prospect of climbing the mountain that leads to NRC wasn’t enjoyable for her. She clearly wasn’t a part of the mountain lovers club.

When she was done with her sandwich, the bus came and took her back to the academy. In front of it, she sighted. [How am I going to explain this to Yuu ? I should tell the truth, I know it but would they even be able to understand it ? It is a lot for a teenager to handle. “Hello, I am mentally ill but no worries I don’t go to the psych ward this often !”. She face-palmed herself way to go girl… If it is difficult for a child, what will it be when I will explain it to Grim ? The poor guy is going to ask me if he can eat it…].

She opened the door of the rundown dorm and was welcomed by the sight of the duo watching the TV, both with their mouths opened.

She had a small smile “Hey everyone…”.

They turned their heads and both had big smiles plastered on it. “Victoriaaaa !!!! We missed you !”.

Grim added “Yuu is not good at cooking.” while Yuu asked “Where were you ? We were a bit worried.”.

She had a small laugh and shut down the TV. Mustering her courage, she said “We need to talk about something serious.”

She sat on a sofa and inhaled slowly. “Yuu, Grim, I hide it, but I am a bit sick. Like I am constantly sick but by periods. And right now is one of those periods. Like you said Yuu, I am missing a lot of sleep and can’t really focus. And Grim, no I am not faking it to not go to the academy and work. I have 2 weeks off, so normally I should be better in a few days. Just that I will sleep a lot during the day and won’t be able to accompany you to school. Sorry…”.

Right on the dot, Grim asked “Can’t you eat it ?”.

The woman felt her soul leaving her body. [Super…]

Yuu hushed Grim. “You can’t chew off illnesses, Grim ! You need self-care and medications, even if it is just a cold. It can become worse if you don’t do anything.” They faced Victoria. “I understand, I… We will do our best to not hinder you in your recovery ! We will be calm and not mess around.”.

She pinched her nose “It is not a question of hindering of not, it is a question of understanding.” The woman smiled a bit. “I take your word for it, be calm and study hard, the exams are in 2 weeks.”

Yuu mumbled something. Victoria raised an eyebrow. “Yes Yuu ?”

They bite their lips. “Will you give us a group math class ? Ace, Deuce, Grim and I are behind.”.

The brunette frowned. “What ? But you both study it a lot. What happened ? Show me your notes”.

Yuu reappeared in the living room with their notes and showed it. The woman flipped through the pages. [Mhm… They are still studying the integrals but… This is not the level asked for a first year student.].

She looked at the last page where could see an attempt to resolve an equation with variable substitution. She blurted “Is this guy… Incompetent ?”.

Yuu lowered their head. Victoria hurried “Not you, Yuu. The teacher !! I think he is inapt to teach.”

The Child was surprised and Grim gasped. Grim asked “Why ?”.

[The racoon loves drama ?].

The eldest answered frankly. “What you are studying is far too high-level for you. It is outside program. You should be beginning to study about irreal planes and their reasoning. Not integrals with variable substitutions.”.

Grim had a wide smile and threw his paws in the air. “So it is normal that we understand nothing !! Nya ha ha, I knew it !”.

The woman massaged her temples while giving back  to Yuu their notes. “Alright, I will teach you. But it doesn’t mean it will be now, I need to rest first. Maybe in a week.”.

At the moment Victoria held her hand out, a loud noise could be heard and everything around her began changing into smoke. She yelped “Not agaiiiin !!”.

She opened her eyes. What was that loud noise ? … Someone was banging on her door ?

“VICTORIAAAAAAAAA THE WATER IS COOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.”

It was Grim.

“Griiim shush!!! Victoria is sleeping !!!”

[Too late Yuu, I am already awake.]

She got up really slowly. “Yes yes coming…”.

“VICTORIAAAAA.” Continued Grim behind the door.

 *BAM* The door opened, revealing a zombie like state Victoria “WHAT?”.

She enjoyed the silence that came with the surprise. Victoria continued “Wazzup?”.

Grim was about to yell again but Yuu was faster. “We were taking a shower when the water became cold. I told Grim it could wait but he was impatient. I think the water heater broke… Sorry…”

The woman sighed. She was too tired for this. “I see… Go to class, I will take care of it.”

Yuu was going to apologize once again, but the brunette cut them. “I said : go. to. class. Have a nice day.”

Yuu and Grim nodded, understanding from her tone of voice that it was better not to insist.

Victoria tried going back to sleep but it seemed like her body was good for the day, despite being mentally drained. She still stayed in bed, scrolling a bit on her phone. She needed to enjoy silence while it lasted. Calm. Peace.

After an hour or so, she got up and went to the kitchen. She was just following her stomach to this point. She munched on a sandwich while looking at the boiler. It was an old thing after all, it wouldn’t be strange for it to break.

She opened YouTube. “How… To… Tell… If a boiler… Is… Dead.”. She clicked on the first video. She watched the video and called her helpers. “Albert, Bertrand, Conrad, we need to repair this.”

“That’s not our name !” protested them.

 “I don’t care” answered the woman.

Despite this short feud, the four of them went to work.

After a few hours, the four of them had come to the same conclusion : the boiler was dead. They tried to revive it by modifying the intensity of the flame, the gaze etc… But, no, it was dead.

Victoria snarled. She needed to go to the store… And not be in her pj. Sh*t.

Victoria promised the children to help them study before saying some good nights.

After a light meal, the woman took her meds and went to bed. She was hopeful she could get some well deserved rest. She laid there, observing her ceiling. [What is this teacher thinking ? Teaching them such complex matters…]. She sighed. [What a mess].

After a few hours, the meds kicked in and she fell asleep.

She was on a hill, in front of a yellow tower. [I must be dreaming, am I at Yen Sid tower again ?].

She knocked on the door and after a few minutes, an old man opened the door. He was old, with a long gray beard and his black eyebrows always frowning. He was muttering about how youngsters those days seemed to have a lot of free time. He raised his head and looked her in the eyes.

He was intrigued. “Well, we meet again, young woman. You disappeared in a hurry last time.”

She was flabbergasted. “Mh, yeah nice to meet you again sir. I woke up quite brutally.”

He raised an eyebrow. “You… woke up ? What do you mean ?”

She thought hard on how to explain this. “Erm, basically, for me, I am currently asleep and I am dreaming about you ..? Like I know my body is asleep because if someone outside wants to see me, he only needs to wake me up. I exist on this plane of reality. But I shouldn’t exist on your plane.”

The man squinted his eyes, wondering what she could be meaning by that. After a few minutes, he asked “I know there are multiple worlds so… Which one are you from ?”

Victoria smiled. “I come from a world named Twisted Wonderland.”

The older man thought hard. “Twisted Wonderland…  I do not know this world, it must be new or undiscovered. What brings you here ?”

She blinked. “I… Don’t know. I mean,I don’t even come from Twisted Wonderland to begin with. Apparently I was randomly chosen to be there.”

His eyes opened wide. “You were chosen ? Are you a keyblade master ?”

Victoria blinked faster. “Me, a keyblade master ? Don’t make me laugh.”

He huffed. “You are right, you must be a princess of heart. I can feel that you are pure.”

The woman guffawed. “Me ? A princess of heart ? Pure ? What a good joke. I ain’t pure for sh*t. I did stuff in bed y’know ?”

He sighed. “Being pure has nothing to do with that. You have no darkness in your heart. You must never have been able to hate someone or you always did your best to please people.”

She was shocked. “Ok… Touché.”

The man massaged his temple. “What’s your name?”

She smiled, finally able to answer a question without having to think too hard about it. “I am Victoria Devi, a janitor ! And you ?”

He scoffed. “I am Yen Sid, magician.”

The following day, she decided to do some work. She needed to change some candles. God knows how long it was going to take since the school had like… a billion of them.

She looked at the hallway. She put on her headphones and muttered to herself. “Let’s do this sh*t.”

It was a long, very long afternoon. But at the end of it, she had changed all the candles of the west and east wings. She will need to do the main building tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, it will be the day of her doctor appointment, and Victoria was quite happy with it. She had no accidents for the moment and ignored the voice successfully. But it was hard that day.

The voice began to speak to her when she was sweeping the floor. “Don’t you think you are being selfish, ignoring me like that ?”

She was particularly tired and answered. “No I am not… I am just ignoring you to not seem crazy. It is hard to have you around.”

It continued. “I am loveable.”

Victoria retorted. “Loveable enough to make me cry to sleep, a true lady killer.”

They continued back and forth while she had her headphones on. It seemed like she was on the phone, when she truly had no one to call.

Crewel found her speaking in the hallway next to his class. He slowly went to her, taking care of being in her sight so as not afraiding her. Despite that, she didn’t seem to focus on him. It was as if he wasn’t there. Or a ghost maybe.

When she was reachable, he gently waved his hand before her eyes.

Victoria jumped, surprised. She took off her headphones and asked “Professor Crewel ! What can I do for you ?”

He smiled gently. “I was wondering what you were doing on the phone, during your work hour/ In reality you were just thinking aloud, right ?”

Sh*t. Touché. “Erm… Yeah. I was wondering if I was loveable.”

He arched his eyebrows. “Of course you are loveable. Everyone is loveable.”

She looked at him, deadpanned. “Even serial killers ?”

He scoffed. “Of course not. But the woman sweeping the floor of NRC, while muttering her thoughts, is loveable.”

He went away. She was surprised. Did he mean it ?

The voice came back. “You should not have any hope. He is a boy. All boys are the same.”

Victoria muttered. “Who are you, Hades ? Do you think you are in Hercules ?”

She sweeps at full force and added. “I am a big girl, I am single, I can do what I want.”

And everyone seemed to forget that.

Victoria went back to the dorm that night, deciding to make curry for dinner. It was beginning to be cold those days.

Yuu welcomed her with some graded paper. “Look ! I had a good grade today !”

She had a weak smile. “Good job Yuu, I am happy to hear that. Continue like this, since exam season is near.”

Yuu tilted their head. “Are you alright ?”

She had a sigh. “I am sorry, I think I will do the food and go to sleep. I am very tired.”

Yuu nodded. “If there were anything wrong, would you tell me ?”

Victoria had a little laugh. “Of course I would.”

Let me show you... youtube - Prologue

I decided to write an intro for my possible youtube insomnia MC falling in Twisted Wonderland. Tell me if you want more ? XD

Hearing noises, I kicked the "door" that was in front of me, obstructing my vision. How could there be noises when I am alone in my house ?

What welcomed me wasn't the old room full of cowebs, but a true hellfire of blue flames in a... castle ?? Confoused I looked at the room, then my corridor, then the room again. There was something strange and I didn't liked it.

Before I could close the door, a strong gush of wind swept me off my feet and pushed me into the castle room. I fell onto the floor and tried to resume my thoughts in the confused room. I stood up slowly and looked around. Fire. Screams. A gray cat being hunted. Young ones hunt the said cat. A... floating mirror ? And... floating coffins ? I was flabbergasted. I turned around to go back through my door, but my door was now a castle door. I wasn't aware, too focused on opening and closing the door, that the noise had shut down. Some people looked at me. Someone coughed, catching my attention.

"Fan-ta-stic, we love it..." I said, completely done with the situation.

A man in a raven mask (high probability that he was the one who coughed) asked, baffled "And... Who may you be ?".

Cool, he is speaking english. At least we can have a conversation about the situation...

"I... am Victoria Devi ? Who are you ? And where are we to begin with ?" I said, suspiciously.

"I am Dire Crowley, headmaster at Night Raven College."

Night Raven College ? Like the Disney game ? Ooooh damn... she was interrupting a cosplay photoshoot...

"I am so sorry, I didn't knew... I am totally lost !" I said, apologetic. "Do you know the way to the nearest aeroport so I could go back to Bordeaux ?"

"Bord...eaux ? In which country ?" blinked the raven man.

"In... France ?" I blinked.

He pinched his nose under the mask.

"So you are telling me that I have a child and a woman from somewhere else ? My generosity know no bounds !" he laughed "Let's go to my office, I think it is going to be a long night... Now, Yuu, Miss Devi..."

That evening, Victoria began to hear a buzzing. It came from nowhere. It was just there. It wasn’t like accountitis. It was like when a bumblebee flew near you. It wasn’t loud so it was alright but it just came out of nowhere and that was worrying.

She decided to try to ignore it. It was just a bad moment, it was probably the stress of the future overblot. That or exhaustion. Pick one.

While waiting for the children to come back from their little investigation, she decided to take care of the portraits on the wall.

The woman coughed so she had all the moving paints attention. “*cough* Everyone ? I need each and everyone of you to be understandable for a few weeks. I need to take everyone off the wall so I can repaint the wall.”

Seeing all the angry faces, she continued. “If you promise to behave during those weeks, I promise that I will clean you, repair you and also repaint your frame. I found some paint seller that seem to have your original frame color in stock. What do you say ? Not a bad deal no ?”

All the frames seemed to agree, as they all went back to their original portrait. Some green jacket dudes even took care of guiding the animals where it belonged.

She promised “I will be careful when I remove you, I swear.”

Victoria then installed a ladder near the wall and proceeded in taking off the portraits off the wall. It was quite challenging to take care of those in the stair and she did something very dangerous to take them off. #YOLO like the youngsters would say. 

She stored all the frames against the stairs, near the TV. Some where bigger and needed to be put where she could against the wall behind the TV. She inspected the paints will she put them away. She thought that all the frames contained paints but some were photographs taken with a ghost camera. She found one that reminded her of Trein. Wait that unimpressed expression, those cheekbones… It was Trein when he was younger !! Damn he was a hottie. In the photograph, he was with a BEAUTIFUL woman. His wife maybe ? But why was it there ? She read the inscription. ‘Portrait of a fellow classmate, 1st try’ by Yen S.

…… Yen… S ?? Like Yen Sid ? He went to this school too ? “It would be so cool if it was true…” she whispered, purely speculating about the presence of the mage in Twisted Wonderland.

While she was speculating, Grim entered the dorm followed by Yuu. The cat shushed the human and sneaked behind Victoria. “BOUH !!”

Victoria was startled. “OH MY BUDDHA GRIM !! Don’t scare me like that ! I could have dropped the frame on you !”

The older one began to nag them that those paints and photographs were important for the dorm etc… while Grim laughed with Yuu.

Victoria smiled while sighing. “How did your little investigation go ?”

Yuu explained that Trey was hurt because Riddle tripped over thin air and that Grim gave Trey a can of tuna. Victoria was impressed. “Grim, I am proud of you for this gesture. You were really mature. It is so cool !”

Grim felt over the moon at this remark. While he was in a world of his own, Yuu continued their story, explaining that they had an idea of who was the culprit and they were organizing a plan to stop them.

Victoria was even more impressed. “You advanced a lot on your research ! You are even coming up with a plan to stop the mastermind ? Color me impressed ! So… Who is it ?”

Yuu and Grim smirked. The Child spoke first. “You will know in due time, Victoria !! For the moment it is a secret !”

Grim continued. “Yeah ! We want it to be a surprise!”

Victoria mumbled. “That’s not fair, I wanna know too…”

She desperately needed to know so it wouldn’t slip out inadvertently. 

Before going to bed, Victoria hurried the children to go into their room so she could use the removing chemicals on the walls. She would feel bad if they were sick because of that. They needed to be in tip top form to stop Ruggie and Leona…

From what she read on the label of ‘Cynthia’s magic remover’ she would need to do it 3 times before the old paint completely vanished. She looked at a Wetube video to be sure of her calculation and have an ‘in situation’ explanation to how to dose the product.

She swept the first layer on the wall. By the time she closed all the shutters and opened the windows, the product was already working its magic. [Man, I don’t know who this Cynthia is, but her product works wonders.]

The product stinked chemicals but thanks to the Great Seven, the shutters were old ones and had plenty of aeration holes.

The morning after, Victoria took the photograph with her to give it back to Trein. She went to the teacher lounge first thing in the morning.

It was Crewel who welcomed her. He was surprised. “Dr Devi ? What can I do for you ? Did Crowley ask you to go somewhere you don’t know ?”

Victoria smiled at the comment. “No, I came to see Professor Trein, I have something for him.”

Trein, hearing his name, looked at Victoria. “For me ?”

Victoria nodded while Crewel mumbled that he wanted a gift too. She went in front of him. “I have this for you, I think it is you ?”

Trein looked at the photo and was shocked. His eyes seemed to be glossed over. “How… Where ?”

Victoria had a small smile. “It was hanging on Ramshackle’s wall. I was going to repaint it when I found it. I think you need it more than the dorm.”

Trein looked at the photo. “Thank you, Mrs Devi.”

Before going back to her lair, the woman only smiled. “You’re welcome, Professor Trein.”

The woman didn’t understand the sentence really well. She turned her head. No one. [Strange… I was sure someone was there.]

Victoria looked at Crewel with her eyes full of questions. “Did you speak to me ?”

Crewel patted her head. “No. Hearing voices ?”

Victoria frowned. “... Maybe.”

Like magic, she received a text. about the painting. She smiled “I am sorry, I gotta go. Thank you for spending all this time with me.”

The man coveted her. He feathered the back of her hand with his mouth. “No big deals, it was wonderful to spend all this time with such a beautiful woman.”

Victoria reddened. “Thank you for the compliment… Goodbye.”

She flew to the art room. She was panting by the time she arrived. “I am here for the painting !”

A teenage boy greeted her. “Hello, I am the painter ! Nice to meet you.”

Victoria looked at him from head to toe. He seemed near a good burn out. They had the same dark circles and pasty white complexion, indicating the unhealthy lifestyle they lived. They even had the same fake smile plastered on their face. Damn it was like looking at a gender bending mirror.

The boy spoke first “Mh, about the canvas… Do you really want to buy it ? It is a depressing one… Ladies normally prefer bright paintings with flowers and cute animals on them…”

Victoria nodded. “No, I want this one. It is really a melting pot of raw emotions, I like it. It reminds me of myself.”

He seemed troubled. “Oh… Ok… Then for the price..”

They discussed the price. Once she gave him the money -after insisting to pay him rightfully- she asked. “This painting feels like something you already experienced. Is it you ? Or someone you know ?”

The boy had a faint smile. “I am the one in this painting…”

Victoria felt tears coming out. “You know… If you have help, everything will get better. I know it for sure.”

The poor teenager squeezed her hand before she went away. “Thank you..”

She turned around with her new addition when she heard a faint whisper. “Whore.”

She turned her head as fast as a human could to see who was speaking. No one again. [I don’t like this at all.]

When she was in the corridor she was stopped by a voice she knew. “Mrs Devi ? What are you doing here ? You should be watching the games.”

She smiled facing the man. “I could tell you the same professor Trein.”

He coughed. “I was merely patrolling inside the school.”

The cat in his arms meowed. He added/ “What do you have here ? A painting ?”

She nodded and showed him. “Indeed ! A fellow student made it. I think he has a lot of talent, the emotions are so raw. I love it.”

Lucius seemed intrigued by the canvas. He sniffed it. Trein frowned. “It is… an unusual taste in painting.”

Victoria shrugged. “Well you need a little bit of everything to make a world… I don’t critique people’s taste in food, don’t critique my taste in paint.”

The duo was stunned by her comeback. “I am not criticizing your taste, I just find it original.”

Victoria, deadpan, looked at him. “‘Original’ often means ugly. Like when we say that a hat is ‘original’ when it is just plain old ugly. In short, I have a painting and I am going to hang it, if you excuse me. Humpf!”

Trein was left speechless. Lucius meowed. Trein asked the cat. “What do you mean I screw things up ?”

Victoria came back quickly to the dorm to hang her painting in her bedroom -after watching a quick tutorial on how to hang a frame on old wood wall-. No one had good taste in paintings here. She could spend hours looking at it without getting tired of it.

She heard noises then a good “Victoria we are hoooome.”

The woman welcomed the duo. “Hello dearies ! How were the games ? I filmed your game of course !”

Yuu became shy while Grim boasted confidence. “Nya ha ha !!! We were awesome, no ?”

Victoria applauded, smiling. “Of course ! Everyone has witnessed the great Grim in action !”

Grim continued to laugh. This time it was Yuu’s time to speak. “You… Aren't you going to ask us about what happened before the match ?”

Victoria looked at the Child and asked. “Do you want to speak about it ?”

Tears filled Yuu’s eyes. The woman guided the Child to the sofa and Grim said. “You are a cry baby, subordinate !”

Victoria clicked her tongue. “Shh Grim if you want tuna later.”

Grim shut his trap and Yuu began to speak. The fear they had when Ruggie was hurt, the disaster it was to escape the attacks,... They had a lot to unpack, like last time.

She let them cry all they needed. It was to a point they fell asleep on the couch. Victoria covered them with a duvet before preparing dinner. She made tuna mayo onigiri for everyone and left a plate covered with cellophane on the table. She wrote ‘For Yuu <3’ in her best penmanship.

She was in a dire need of sleep.
