Summary: What kind of dad would the NRC boys be?

A/N: This isn't really an "X reader" unless you imagine yourself as the other parent. This was fun to write, I hope it's fun to read. (Don't tell anyone, but this isn't proofread.)
Riddle Rosehearts: The strict dad
Not super strict, but strict enough. He’s always enforcing rules and monitors his kid(s) grades like a hawk. If he catches them breaking rules he set in place, he won’t yell, but he will tell them why they shouldn’t do that. Depending on the severity of what they did, he might ground them. He tries not to be overbearing or as strict as his mom was with him. He just wants to show his kid(s) that he cares in the best way he knows how. And if he’s scared of being too harsh on his kid(s) he’ll talk to his partner and friends. He just wants to be a good dad.
Trey Clover: The dad
Not a specific type of dad. Just a dad. He’s top-tier dad material. Trey will teach his kid(s) everything, he’ll support their interest, help them with homework, bake desserts for them when they do something good. He does everything a dad should do. Just typical, good dad behavior. Everyone wants Trey as their dad. His kid(s) absolutely love him. Even when he grounds them and they get mad at him.
Cater Diamond: The influencer dad
This isn’t in the way that he posts his kid(s) entire life on social media, but will just post pictures when they’re being cute. If they have a cute onesie on, he’ll take pictures and post it online talking about how cute they look in it. He’ll post pictures of a birthday party, wishing them a happy birthday. He just wants people to know how cute his kid(s) is/are. And he will delete every negative comment, because he won’t allow false information to be spread. Most of the time though, he’s too busy loving his kid(s) to even think about social media.
Deuce Spade: The supportive dad
Deuce tries to support his kid(s) as best as he can. He’ll do his best to help with homework, he’ll try to engage in their interest, he’ll tell them to just be themselves. He’ll listen to his kid(s) talk about something they’re passionate about, and he’ll ask questions to let them know he’s listening. He tries so hard. He’s not always the best, but he tries. There are many times where he won’t know what his kid is talking about, but he’ll listen so intently. He wants his kids to know that he loves and cares for them. He has the hardest time punishing them though. He’ll ground them, but the moment he’s alone, he talks to his partner about how bad he feels. He’s a good dad.
Ace Trapolla: The playful dad
Ace is always joking around and (affectionately) messing with his kid(s). He’s the dad that makes dad jokes because his kid(s) hate it. When they’re super young, he’ll just play with them and tickle them. But when they grow older and can understand the difference between seriousness and playing around, he starts messing with them and playing pranks. He’ll also embarrass his kid(s) in public. He’s just always messing around with his kid(s) (affectionately).
Leona Kingscholar: The chill dad
He’s just laid back and lets his kid(s) do their thing. He’s not negligent or lazy by any means. He’ll look out for his kid(s) and make sure they don’t get hurt. If they want to play with him, he’ll play. If they want to tell him about something they’re interested in, he’ll listen. If his kid(s) want to play by themself, he’ll let them. He’s going to make sure they don’t run off and get hurt, but if they want to do something alone, he’ll let them. And if he has multiple, he’ll make sure that they know they’re loved equally.
Ruggie Bucchi: The hard-worker dad
He works a lot. He spends more time working than he does taking care of his kid(s). It’s not that he doesn’t want to, he just wants to make money so that he has enough money to give his kid(s) a more comfortable life. When he does have free time, he’s taking good care of his kid(s). He tries to have a good work-life balance but it’s hard with his financial situation. He loves his kids and that’s why he works so hard.
Jack Howl: The athletic dad
He’s working out a lot. Not to the point that he neglects his kid(s) or anything. In fact, his kid(s) are around when he works out sometimes. He’d encourage them to sit on his back while he does push ups, or they’ll ask if he can bench press them. When they’re young, he’d take them for walks in their stroller. He’d want to jog, but he isn’t sure if that’ll hurt them. His kid(s) are fascinated by his strength.
Azul Ashengrotto: The protective dad
Not overprotective. The right amount of protectiveness. Azul has been bullied before and he knows how it feels, so he wants to keep his kid(s) from going through the same thing. He always asks them how school was and if they made any new friends. And god forbid they get bullied in front of him. He won’t hit a child but he is going to scam their parents so hard. Think before you bully Timmy, your family’s broke now.
Jade Leech: The adventurous dad
He takes his kid(s) everywhere. Not when they’re babies. He takes them around at the age he and Floyd started exploring the coral sea without supervision. Which is still pretty young. He’ll take them to the deepest trenches and the highest mountains. They’ll be fine afterwards, but his partner needs to be watchful.
Floyd Leech: The “fun” dad
He will not let his kid(s) do anything boring and he will not let his kid(s) be boring. He takes them to do whatever he finds fun. He’ll take them somewhere dangerous, but they'll end up fine. He’s just teaching his kids to fend for themselves. Takes them somewhere dangerous and ditches them. He’ll wait just a bit away and congratulate them for surviving. It’s best if his partner takes care of the kids.
Kalim Al-Asim: The fun dad
Actually fun, not life-threatening. He takes his kids to do whatever they want and will play with them. He’s very carefree and his child-like excitement about most things makes him good with kids. He’ll use his UM and let his kids play in the rain. His kids love him for how fun he is, but it does lead him to not grounding them when he should.
Jamil Viper: The tired dad
He’s exhausted. Not because of his kid(s), but outside forces. He comes home from work and he’s ready to go to bed. He does spend time with his kid(s) though. He’s not going to neglect them because he’s tired. There have been times where he’s fallen asleep while playing with them and they’ll just snuggle up to him and fall asleep as well. He’s a good dad but just a very tired one.
Vil Schoenheit: The celebrity dad
Feel like this one was obvious. Vil tries to avoid being seen with his kid(s) in public. He doesn’t want their life to be put on blast. He’ll wear different disguises every time they go out. For a while, he doesn’t tell his kid(s) that he’s famous. They’re watching a movie and just start screaming when their dad shows up. He loves his kid(s) and makes sure that they can have private lives unlike him.
Rook Hunt: The dangerous dad
Takes his kid(s) for their first hunting trip at the age of four. He gets them little trainer bows and teaches them how to sneak up on their prey. By the time they’re six, he tests them by making them hunt him. They aren't able to because he’s too quick but he assures them that they’ll do it someday. Everytime they hunt, he goes for increasingly bigger and bigger animals. They do end up getting attacked by some animals. Rook always saves them on time, but they’re still terrified every time. His partner should look after the kids.
Epel Felmier: The outdoorsy dad
His kid(s) will spend more time outside than inside. He takes them all around the farm and will let them pick apples with him. In the winter time, he takes them sledding, has snowball fights, watch the sledathon, etc. Most of his childhood was spent outside and he loved that, so he’s sure his kid(s) will too. He won’t stop them from staying inside, but he would prefer if they came outside. He wants bonding time.
Idia Shroud: The gamer dad
He’s an epic gamer. His kid(s) love watching him play video games because of how good he is. And they get into video games too. They’ll get so excited to play and end up getting frustrated when they’re not as good as Idia. Idia encourages them to keep trying and tells them that he got good by practicing. He’ll play multiplayer games with them and they’ll have a lot of fun. (And if it’s an online fighting game, they’ll be happy to have him on they’re side).
Ortho Shroud: The uncle
The closest he’ll get to having kids is Idia having kids. He takes the kid(s) away from electronics so that they don’t end up as isolated as Idia. He’ll also take the kid(s) off of the Island of Woe to see the outside world (with permission). He won’t take them to dangerous places, but if they somehow end up in danger, Ortho has more than a couple weapons installed.
Malleus Draconia: The clingy dad
He’s a little overbearing. He doesn’t try to be, but he was alone most of his childhood and he doesn’t want that for his child(ren). He follows them everywhere to make sure they don’t feel lonely. If his partner doesn’t talk to him about it, Silver or Lilia will. Once he learns that he’s being suffocating, he reels it in. He’ll still spend time with them, but he learns to let them do stuff on their own.
Lilia Vanrouge: Umm?

Silver Vanrouge: The sleepy dad
His kid(s) will always find him asleep. They look away for one second while playing and he’s asleep. They just wake him up to continue playing. Aside from his sleepiness, they love him. He’s a great dad when he’s awake. They love watching his sparring his matches and will cheer him on. The match, of course, ends in victory. He can’t lose when his kid(s) cheer him on. When they’re tired, they’ll find their dad and cuddle up to him. He’s warm and it’s relaxing.
Sebek Zigvolt: The loud dad
His kid(s) hate being with him in public. They find it embarrassing. He drops them off and just yells at them to have a great day and they start looking around to make sure nobody saw that. Even alone, they don’t like it. There’s no reason to yell, they can hear him just fine. Little do they know, that’ll be them when they’re older.
