I have already written so much about Trey (lol) but still . He is so extremely repressed because of his little savior complex towards Riddle and he had to force himself to be a stable figure for both Riddle and his younger siblings , so he just doesn't show much if Any negative emotions . Trey is just emotionally inept and can't read people well (like how he thinks Riddle doesn't hold much up about their relationship when well . HE DOES and also how dismissive he is of Cater's issues) . He avoids his own emotions and just . Idk man food for thought

Tbfh I have never gotten jokes about Trey being a "mom friend" and whatnot because really , he only knows how to deal with Riddle LMFAO and most of that is grounded off of him having to be a stable figure for both Riddle and his younger siblings . Trey shows compassion through damage control more than anything (ex Giving Vil that cake so that he won't seem like a jerk with ulterior motives and to give Vil a superficial solution to his problems)

Trey unconditionally loves Riddle , yet he doesn't think Riddle holds much value to their relationship because of the drastic personality change (Trey even says Riddle didn't seem like an angry person in their childhood ....) Through that interaction with Vil , he finds out Riddle praises him constantly during dorm head meetings , yet Trey still downplays it and even Vil points out Trey doesn't care much for emotional sentiment . Trey thinks more of avoiding bad rather than feeling good . Again , Vil likely thinks Riddle doesn't appreciate Trey which is (again) on Trey for not picking up on it .

TLDR Trey doesn't understand people's feelings well , focuses more on trying to avoid conflict than fix problems at their source , aaaand enjoys being with Riddle but doesn't pick up on this and that Riddle appreciates him

Riddle: Avant-garde metal !!! I feel like the fact that the genre focuses more on experimental sounds and breaks off farther from traditional metal sounds , while also still having a well put together vibe ? and still being metal-metal + the slight operatic feel and such really suits him . I also had symphonic metal in mind but maybe another day ...

Trey: Post-metal ! The lower sounds and the lesser focus on vocals really reminds me of him ^__^ . The low sound of the vocals combined with the abstract/odder lyrics suits him kinda methinks ... Like specifically stuff like Holy Tears by Isis :)

Cater: Power metal!!! I was sort of torn between this and Kawaii metal , but I ended up going with power metal . The high tempos + bpms and the upbeat aspect really reminds me of Cater esp the small menhara aspect of him .... The usage of keyboards/pianos also ...... :)

Deuce: Kawaii metal 🏃 I feel like the j-pop aspects kawaii metal has really suits them !! This and the clean & clear vocals with the occasional usage of melodic death metal really resonates with him I think if that makes sense .. Stuff like DA DA DANCE by Babymetal and Nippon Manju by LADYBABY :)

Ace: Neoclassical metal ! I will admit picking one out for him was pretty hard but the technical style of shred guitar and the general .. vibe? of the genre reminds me of him . Most notably stuff like Techincal Difficulties by Racer X lol

woah i wanna hear abt the treyriddlecater meta. specifically i wanna hear ur thoughts on cater and how you interpret him

Yes yes the Heartslabyul seniors years polycule .... CATER ... Cater is really interesting to me I'd love to study him anywho . I've said this before but he definitely idealizes Trey & Riddle's relationship and due to how Trey still persues Riddle despite their seperation he (Cater) thinks Trey is the answer to his self isolation , when in actuality Trey & Riddle's relationship/dynamic ? only formed because of circumstances . Annnd because of how suddenly Riddle came into NRC and Trey ended up super fixated on Riddle , he holds that spite (?) towards Riddle in contrast to how highly Riddle thinks of him since Riddle is clearly much more lenient when it comes to Cater .

Cater Clearly wants people (TREY) to reach out to him , but Trey not taking Cater seriously like . At all is a bit on his part as well due to how secretive he is and his passive aggressiveness , like HERE

Like . TreyCater could be good but they need to like have a fight or get their shit together or something first Cause at the moment it's rather ERM

Along with his secretiveness and all that it was kind of out of pocket to say this about Lilia in his halloween SSR . Like I'm pretty sure he thinks Lilia is joking about the age thing but Come on now Cater at your big age

Anyways in conclusion KEIKUN GO TO THERAPY I love him so much .
