In 2018, Naomi Nye’s papers were acquired by the Witliff collection at Texas State and she became Professor of Creative Writing. Just last week she gave a phenomenal reading, and will be workshopping with students throughout the years to come. Here she is in 1998 reading at the university she would eventually call home.

Frustrating
Well I can say it's just been a shit weekend so far, but I'm going to make today better despite what happens! With all the rain we had roads flooded and blocked off so after I dropped my roommate off at the bus I couldn't get back to my dorm so I ended up just having to park in a random lot and walking back through the water. So I need to walk and see if I can get my car and drive it back or not. I also haven't even started on my essay so I need to rush to do that. Also, I didn't even get to go to yoga yesterday which was the second day of ten days I paid for. I'm hoping I can go today, but with all the rain I'm not sure.
