@scu11y22 TXF 2x13. Irresistible AKA Scare the crap out of me Donnie episode This episode has always been a favorite of mine. The main reason being Gillian Anderson. Her acting was superb and she's gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Even with tears in her eyes and hands tied she was stunning to watch. I couldn't take my eyes off her the entire episode. The MSR moments were strong and organic in this episode. Mulder being mindful of the atrocities they were dealing with and Scully's ability to cope. His gentle words of encouragement and understanding to her are still MSR moments that are on my top 10 list. I enjoyed Scully's scene with the Psychiatrist. We don't often get to hear Scully talk about her emotions and what she's thinking, so this scene was refreshing and important to endearing her more to me as an audience member. Her vulnerability and her determination to still move forward and do the job she loved, made her even more incredible to me. It made me an even bigger fan of Dana Scully. Random scenes I liked: "Girlie Girl" I get goosebumps thinking about his voice. "A PRETTY woman run off the road" weeeee! All the FEELS!! How they could still weave Aliens into a MOTW episode. lol. Shampoo and a running bath. YIKES! Usually the music is a background thing to me (sorry Tracy) I'm aware of it, but...It's usually the acting or the visuals that are prominent, however in this episode the music was a secondary character this time. Wow! The music was so fantastic. It made my skin crawl.
