Mulder & Scully - Don’t Even Go There Edition
X-FILES 6.08 The rain king
They seriously there’s-only-one-bed-ed Mulder and Scully in 6x08 but then did nothing with it? Ok these canon writers clearly have no idea what they’re doing with this one, they should just let the professionals (fic writers) handle it...
I recently re-watched the rain king (season 6 episode 8) and I forgot how peaceful and happy that episode is. Like there is no deaths (except for that poor cow) and there is a happy ending to it and it answers all questions and it’s just an amazing episode. I really wish there were more episodes like that one. I know this is really random but I wanted to tell someone.

But yes, I completely agree. Rain King is a great episode. I mean, Mulder almost dies, but death by flying cow would have been an amazing obituary.
Also, Scully basically telling us (and herself) how she fell in love with Mulder is easily one of the best moments in the entire show.
