Tuxedo Strawberry: a well-dressed headcanon (any headcanon about clothes).

now that she’s in her thirties, claire’s sense of style has gone slightly downhill, to say the least. her wardrobe consists of blazers and button down shirts, articles of clothing she has come to adore despite the fact that they have a tendency to make her look older than she really appears. But this is mainly due in part to the fact that she tries to dress professionally ( rather than her style as a teenager, which consisted of many crop tops and vests ), but the result is something unfitting and even resembling something that a mother would wear.

she’s confident in her style of dress though, and despite her younger friends telling her occasionally that she needs a bit of work, she brushes it off and takes it like a joke. claire loves her blazers and her button downs, guys. please leave claire alone 2k15.

Purple Daze

purple daze: a stoner/drugs headcanon.

the only ‘drug’ claire uses with frequency is marijuana. she actually smokes marijuana on a regular basis, as it relaxes her and allows her to calm down especially given how much she tends to worry and overthink. as claire is known to be a ‘workaholic’ who rarely has a chance to relax and have substantial down time, the use of marijuana is responsible for keeping her sane and relaxed given some of the things she has had to go through over the years. claire uses it responsibly, although on nights where she is feeling especially stressed or upset she will smoke more than she usually does. it’s all a matter of how she feels. claire would never smoke cigarettes like her brother, but she does smoke marijuana and quite a bit, if she’s absolutely honest.

Outcast

There has been two different societies, ever since the beginning of the conflict. One side, humanity. The other, ‘monstrosities’, what humankind usually used to refer to the plethora of creatures they couldn’t come to describe properly, or accept, for that manner.

If you were a human, you steered clear of monsters. It was a crime to so much as research them, but if you were caught sneaking into monster territory to study or gather specimens, you would be kicked out.

Never heard from again.

Shackles jingling on their wrists, the researcher sat in the horse-led wagon, being led to the outer wall of human civilization. They had been caught holding various plant specimens and insects from outside the boundary, and thus, had to face their punishment.

They were shoved off the wagon, and dragged up the ladder over the wall. They nearly slipped and fell a few times, but managed to get up.

“Over you go,” their guard grumbled, pushing them toward the edge after unshackling them.

Most people would be disappointed to leave human society, but Hanji, no matter how wrong their feelings felt, was overjoyed. They crawled down the rope ladder thrown over for them, watching as it was pulled back up. They were on their own now, free to research whatever they wanted. They’d been allowed a small bag of their things, and had stuffed it full of their research material. They’d left room for a few small portions of food and a canteen for water, and a saucepan dangled from their pack, but that was it.

They began their trek out into the woods, the foreign animal cries and howling of monsters giving them some kind of terrified excitement.

“So you’re finally done helping Hanji with their research...? Have they not passed out from pure exhaustion after working so hard yet?”

Mikasa leaned against the wall, sighing. “Wanna go get dinner with me?”

Hanji held the puppy tight in their arms, giving Armin a desperate look. “Come on, Armin! We’ve gotta keep him in the apartment! He’s just a puppy. You’re not that allergic, are you?”

They held the puppy up for him to see again. It was a small black and white pomeranian, and Hanji was desperate to keep it.
