Just found the rock apocalypse au, (didn't want to fudge the spelling) and I just love how the brothers all get bit sooner or later by Branch before they end up joining the group.

I can't help but to think about that one line from Boxtrolls

"you bit me..." Looks fire at bite mark, back at Zombie Branch "With your mouth."

yea!!! i like to think it's his subconscious way of getting back at them for leaving; since he can't rant at them, his brain just flips on the "bite" switch! given the opportunity he would bite them TONS more

the falling stars au writing is so good??? i love those last few lines on part 3 its so epic!!!

the secret is that i see it all as a comic strip in my mind tbh so the pace has to be snappy... like comic pace... yk???

I’m not totally clear on how many people are talking (is Joly there and just silent?) but the dialogue itself is v good and intriguing

when i actually write prose for this i will give joly at least some lines (tho i think mostly he is fussing quietly trying to take care of everyone all at once) but yea i just dropped his bc its confusing to have three people talking without dialog tags
