22. At journey’s end, have they changed for the better or worse? Or does their journey continue still?
Cori has mostly changed for the better, I think. She grew up a v isolated, lonely child who was determined to be independent and not burden her mother. They’ve lost a lot and have so much grief but they found so much love too, friends and family who care so much for them and have shown them how to let others help. She still struggles, she’s still working on letting people see her hurt, but she’s more open to it now (when she is not struggling so much with her trauma. but she’s also retained a lot of things too! Her kindness, her warmth, her optimism, all things that have been reinforced by her journey.
