░░░░░░ ☾ it’s hardwired into her to object. ty-lee will play at happy-go-lucky until she drops dead, thank you very much. but when she looks at mai, the setting sun halo-ing her dark, dark hair, ty-lee finds herself dropping her gaze. “you might not.” she says, knowing it’s not true before she even says it. even azula wants better – this, ty-lee knows, because for every person who believes ty-lee to be an airhead incapable of rubbing two brain cells together, there is another hidden depth to her. ty-lee listens as much as she pretends she’s not. she knows the truth when she sees it.
sighing dramatically, ty-lee pushes herself to her feet, offering her hand to her friend. “well, there’s no point pouting about it, i guess!” she smiles toothily. “we can have a better story together.”
