Had an absolutely bonkers weekend ???

- drove up to Long Island yesterday (first time there btw) to go to an engagement party for someone I only met AT THE PARTY (aka the bride was the sibling of a friend of my bf)

- befriended this random 16 year old kid at the party. He told us about how he immigrated to america a few years ago and was a vibe

- learned how to play rummikube while also getting drunk off leminchello

- woke up in this rich ass house and ate NY authentic bagels

- RODE THE TRAIN!!! And we parted ways with the kid so he could link up with his friends in the city while we explored

- tried going to Central Park Zoo and accidentally walked into the ISRAEL DAY PARADE (literally could not get across the street to the zoo the police barricades were that bad)

- decided to go find somewhere to eat, got on the subway

- get off and find the kid again??? About to get on the subway we just got off??

- end up taking him with for food

- eat some chinese food in union park, friend got shit on by bird x3

- say goodbye to the kid (again) and head on more subways until we end up in Brooklyn

- go to a shop and see the entire family of the person whose engagement party we went to (but like the side of the groom this time)

- go back on lirr

- ?????

- now I’m home less than 72 hrs later ???

It’s the time of year my school (a vocational tech high school that kids can go to for half days) does tours to lure in prospective 8th graders and I can assure that at least once per tour/school someone has reacted to this sign outside my room

I drew pekkle last week and was so sad when I erased him so I am using my platform to immortalize him

Some life updates for my mutuals:

- got my “own” classroom now!!! I put a lot of baskeball player quotes bc that’s what I’m into rn

- went to a basketball game yesterday :)

- then we drove to atlantic city for rainforest cafe since we were already halfway there

- my sister’s friend got her a cat bunny hat in Japan so we tried it out

- green beer for st Patty’s!!!
