Nightmares
Linde was once again in Mangin’s office, and this time they had successfully managed to kick Adelor out. He had spent the morning and noon with her at Haus Bronze, cleaning - not healing - her wounds, reassuring her that she was fine, hoping, hoping, hoping that Teida was keeping her mouth shut and didn’t tell all of Haus Gold. In vain. When they had come back in the afternoon - just as he had promised it to Zieg - people had already been waiting for her, to see if the rumours were true, if her face really was marked by claw-wounds. By now, Adelor was too exhausted to fight them. He just kept his arms around his sister and brought her to the office, where, again, he was too exhausted to fight again. He let her go in alone and hoped, hoped, hoped they were not going to hurt her more.
And then he had sat down on the ground in front of the office and waited.
