How did you get into Magnificent Century? (I first came across it on a random youtube binge when I was about 15 and watched it because of the costumes!)
I think it came up as a Netflix recommendation ages ago (at one time season 1 was available on Netflix) and it was one of those shows that I always intended to get into but didn't have the time just because of how many episodes there are and the length of the episodes (2 hours long).
But then lockdown happened and I had time on my hands and needed a distraction from everything. So after watching the first season of Rise of Empires: Ottoman I learned (from @mc-critical, thank you so much for that by the way) that MC was available in full on YouTube. It was just meant as escapism to get me through 2020 but then Hürrem showed up on my screen and everything just snowballed from there.
