There's more than hometown pride in Davidson's efforts to have his films shot here. He finds plenty of financial and strategic advantages in local productions as well.

Today, I'd like to tell you about someone.
I've known this kid since Kindergarten. He is so kind and funny. He plays tuba and soccer.
His name isTyler Davidson.
Tyler suffered from a epileptic disease called F.I.R.E.S. It never affected him until January 19, 2012. He started having uncontrollable seizures, and was medically induced into a coma on January 21, 2012. Doctors worked around the clock to try and help Tyler. No modern medicine could help him.For 36 days, Tyler stayed in the coma. We all hoped and prayed that he would come back to us. He didn't.
On February 25, 2012, at 1:00 P.M., Tyler was taken off of life support. His heart stopped beating at 1:14 P.M. that same day.He was an organ donor. Other people are alive today because of him.
Tyler was a friend, a band member, a team mate, a brother, and an amazing person. He was such an amazing friend.
It's only been a month, but it seems like a year. I keep hearing your voice in my mind, and I am trying to hold on to it. You were an amazing tuba player. I felt honored to be able to carry your tuba to our Band Festival. Paul brings out your tuba for every concert, and you knocked it over at Band Festival. That assured me that you look out for us and are watching at our concerts.
I miss you Tyler. 2/25/12. Fly High forever.
