Swimming Through Sick Lullabies || Charler
Only Finn Hudson could through a party last minute and still get half the damn town to show up. When Tyler had received the text earlier in the day letting him know of the festivities, he was almost sure the party would be a complete failure. Honestly, he figured there'd be 15-20 people at most. But still, he figured this would be a good opportunity to introduce Cierra to a few more of his friends. At this point Charlie was the only one of his friends she'd officially met, and that was an experience he'd much rather forget. But the moment he turned onto Finn's street to find each side of it lined with parked cars, he wasn't even sure that he'd run into anyone he knew personally during the whole shindig. He managed to find a parking spot pretty quickly though, and after a bit of a walk he and Cierra were finally making their way through the crowded entry-way. Immediately he recognized a number of faces from their high school days, but mainly the crowd seemed to consist of kids who were probably still in high school. Not wanting to lose her in the crowd, he held Cierra's hand as she led her towards the kitchen to grab something to drink.
At her request he fetched her a Mike's while he grabbed himself a can of PBR as per usual. Scanning the crowd, he was pleased to spot Finn pretty quickly. "C'mere, I want you to meet Finn." He told his girlfriend, leading her across the room to where Finn stood with a beer, talking to a couple of high schoolers. Evidently, Finn still didn't understand the concept of 'jail-bate'. Slapping the former quarterback on the shoulder, they greeted each other with a brotherly handshake before Tyler stepped back to acknowledge Cierra. He introduced the two, and was relieved to find how quickly she and Finn got to talking. Thus far it was going infinitely better than it had with Charlie. The relief only lasted a moment, though. As if on cue, he spotted the red head coming up from the basement with a guy following close behind. Sure, he'd expected her to be there. He just hadn't expected her to be looking so god damn irresistible. Initially he hoped to avoid her just so none of them would have to relive the same awkwardness from the mall, now he hoped to avoid her simply so he wouldn't get caught staring.
